I think he would. He's just that special type of player that does make that kind of difference in a team. The problem is that we'll become reliant on him, but now that we actually have some cash we'll hopefully continue to build the team so that when Ibra leaves we won't face the huge issues that we faced the first time

Obviously this is all just speculation, but I do believe that at the end he'll end up coming back. Just a hunch but this is what I'm thinking atm

Well, pretty much the usual thing. I grew up bilingual in Austria, so I followed German TV on daily basis. Even though I was always a Milanista and watched Serie A, I also followed the Bundesliga on a regular basis in the 90s and the 00s. Now my TV network covers the Bundesliga matches as well, so I tune in. I always admired Serie A players from Germany like Möller and Hässler, even the Milan reject Ziege or Klinsmann who was a Interista. That connected me with the German NT.

As for this mercato, today's developments have really undermined us. We might have finished roughly level with Inter but they've signed Kondogbia and now Miranda. We've managed Bertolucci. They've signed the quality of player we need.

I am pleased with the rubbish we're getting rid of, but we're just not able to attract guys like Miranda here. Inter are. I stand by my previous thoughts on this, that we can't get the best players - but Inter are still getting a higher calibre than us. And Miranda only cost them 15M. No spring chicken but an excellent defender. I still don't know who the hell Adbennour is, not that he's coming anyway.

Nah, I'm with "obviousness" and speculations regarding Milan. We'll see how things develop. Even with a gem player like Ibrahimović IMO there are simply too many unknown elements to evaluate and predict the situation properly.

As for my German teams, I liked Dortmund with Hitzfeld, Bayern obviously but my heart goes to Borussia M'Gladbach.

I'm not ready to say that we can't attract players of that calibre. We'll see what happens over the next month. As for Inter, I think it's very clear that Mancini is the reason they are getting these players. I don't like Inter but I respect Mancini and he's putting together a compelling project. In the end I think it's a good thing for Italy having Inter capable of challenging for CL spots. Serie A is better when Milan's teams thrive. Now we just need to have a great summer and spoil their party next season (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Mauri deal also complete according to most sources, he and his agent were in a meeting today with Galliani, tomorrow he'll most likely do the medicals and sign his contract for 4 years.

Also, Gabriel has renewed his contract until 2019, he'll be sent back on loan for another year at Carpi

I read that he had the best clean sheet record in Serie B last season and Napoli have been after him this summer

Oh and we've apparently stopped pursuing Baselli, Fiorentina are close to signing him.

Really glad we've gotten rid of Bonera, Muntari and Pazzini. Each one of them pissed me off every time they played. Yes, even Pazzini. Egotistical and completely useless.

We should always give chances to home grown young players as fillers, not these has beens and particularly those with limited talents in the first place.

Hear, hear. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Not a bad rotation players to have provided we can make an affordable arrangement with him. Gives it his all, puts his head down and plays the game as required. Ibra, I feel, will joins us in late August. For all we know, B&G may be saving him as a final showpiece signing towards the end of the window.

I'd keep Nocerino even if we don't sign Ibra, though. Just give him a low contract, and rotate him as needed.
