QUOTE (han2503 @ May 27 2015, 04:56 PM) Isn't he with us on loan? Why would we need to try to unload him? I was similarly confused by the article. Perhaps it is actually Atletico that is trying to unload him. QUOTE (han2503 @ May 27 2015, 04:56 PM) And these rumours are making me cackle. Suarez, Mandzukic... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) What's sad though is that once again, we're being linked with strikers only when our problems lie so much deeper than that. Galliani and Silvio at their best right there Yup, my same fear when I hear "large transfer budget" and "B&G" in the same sentence.

Galliani and Silvio at their best right there Suarez isn't a striker. And if we don't intend on keeping Destro, then we need another CF. Mandzukic would be good, but Atletico will probably ask a lot and he's already 29, so I'd look elsewhere. And yeah, I read that Ancelotti will be given a lot of power and money if he accepts, and you've got to believe that's true, otherwise we wouldn't be so desperate about signing him if he wasn't promised such things.

And yeah, I read that Ancelotti will be given a lot of power and money if he accepts, and you've got to believe that's true, otherwise we wouldn't be so desperate about signing him if he wasn't promised such things. Then what is Suarez? For me he's striker, maybe not an out and out one but a striker nonetheless Agreed on Mandzukic, and I'd personally prefer a different type of striker anyway Problem is, what happens if Carlo says no? Are we looking at potentially another season like this one? QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ May 28 2015, 01:43 AM) So if we don't get Carlo and don't spend it will make Berlu look awful, because he's admitting there's a lot of money available. Did Berlu really admit that? Because there's a lot of talk about transfer budgets in the papers and who we'd sign but really, what Silvio said is that if the sale to new investors doesn't go through he'll continue to carry the burden of the club on his own and he wants an "all Italian" Milan. Which is already an eyebrow raiser seeing as the talent pool in Italy isn't what it used to be in the past

We probably want him as De Jong's replacement. QUOTE (han2503 @ May 28 2015, 10:46 AM) Did Berlu really admit that? Because there's a lot of talk about transfer budgets in the papers and who we'd sign but really, what Silvio said is that if the sale to new investors doesn't go through he'll continue to carry the burden of the club on his own and he wants an "all Italian" Milan. Which is already an eyebrow raiser seeing as the talent pool in Italy isn't what it used to be in the past He said he wants to bring Milan back to where it belongs yada yada. Obviously he's not going to say "I have €120 million ready to spend on new players". But regardless of whether it's true or not, it's the fact that we want to sign Carletto so badly that makes me entirely confident we're going to spend decent money this summer, otherwise he would never agree to sign for us in the first place. And speaking of Ancelotti, apparently he's taken time until 3 June to decide (Mediaset). "I have an excellent relationship with Galliani. A year off? We'll see...", he said. This is going to become another saga, isn't it? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Goddammit, yes. But at least he tuned in and said "we'll see", because the other day he spoke of the sabbatical as a sure thing. And if it really depends on his medical condition, it's necessary to wait and evaluate.

The first is good but very injury prone, but the second I'm doubtful; he could be very expensive due to his recent scoring.
