QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 30 2014, 04:20 PM) Fair enough, side with an idiot (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Not quite, I am siding with most of the footballing world. Of those defending Suarez you have his teammates, the president of Uruguay, and Maradona (whose ethics on and off the field are rather questionable). And of course Chiellini, who is doing the right thing by trying to smooth over the matter. Turns out that Suarez has now come clean on the incident, and apologized to "Giorgio Chiellini and the entire football family". Frankly, had he done that from the start I would probably have a different attitude on this matter. Instead he first tried to dive, then claimed that nothing happened, then that he bit Chiellini by accident. That may be laughable, except for the fact that he and his teammates called the rest of the world a bunch of liars. To me, that made it all worse.

The man just doesn't have a moral compass. And his teammates and the Uruguayan FA should be ashamed of themselves for defending him, they knew all along what he did

But it's mostly Löw's doing. Why Boateng and Höwedes play fullbacks is beyond me. Lahm in the middle, no striker while Klose sits and waits. And then the sheer loser character with Özil. Nah, just a regular coach would have suffice to break those Algerians. It's just that these stupid Germans are infected with the Guardiola way of thinking.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I've been following them for close to five years now, when they had rivalry going with Egypt (still is) in the African Cup of Nations, and then they took their place in the 2010 World Cup. They played okay there too, conceding only 2 goals. And well these Germans are not really Germans, or the Germans of old.
