He's better then Birsa and probably the guy we supposedly signed from QPR, but I don't know. Seems to me like it's another quantity signing.

Coach Seedorf introduces Essien to the team

BTW, someone must create an Essien thread.

nice !

just noticed we have alot of english speakers in the side now which can always help the newer players Essien + Honda settle in , although they will likely only be fluent in Italian by the start of next season or longer.

Agreed. But these are the type of players we can afford nowadays.

I've always had this philosophy, if you don't have a lot of money, buy few and buy quality. When I was in college, I made a tight budget for clothing. I decided to buy only a handful of stuff for that first year, but I bought some of the best stuff I could get my hands on for the cheapest deals I could find. For the next couple of years, I didn't have 10 shirts to choose from, but I looked money, I felt good and my budget was intact. But then I always see these people with similar budgets to mine, go to walmart and buy 10 shirts and 3 pants... And complain about not having money and being poor. YOU ARE STUPID.

Morale of story? Milan are stupid.

This needs to be sent to Galliani. Just brilliant. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Hear hear, what Tarbaat said about Milan on 24 December 2012:

QUOTE
My agent is talking with Galliani, but it depends on Robinho and Pastore.

Milan nowadays are going through a very difficult period, and they don't belong anymore to the top clubs in the world. However, performing well for Milan could lay the ground for a possible Barça or Madrid move in the future.

The truth is that since even my friend Boateng, who was a no. 6 at Tottenham and used to warm the standings every Sunday, plays as a #10 there, then I too can have a chance.

I've never been to Italy, but I see on TV that aside from the San Paolo, all other stadiums are empty and sad. I would give up on the English stadiums only for Milan.

I admire Conte's work at Juventus, but I prefer Milan's culture. I have no contacts with Juve.

In Italy I admire Cassano.

Didn't like him from the first moment. If we buy him anf he actually said these things then I'm boycotting Milan indefinitely but for the minimum of this season. Enough is enough.

Very good. Exactly what we should do, but somehow don't.

Looks like Hernanes is on his way to Inter. But we are fine, we'll sign the mighty Taarabt.

And he's not enough. If a player like Hernanes is on the market for a reasonable price (they are talking about 10-13m at the moment), you gotta go for it.

But Honda and Hernanes play in the same position. Sure, Honda could also play on the wing or Hernanes could play a bit more retracted in midfield, but as Seedorf said, you gotta play everyone at their full potential. I would rather invest that money in a proper winger.

Anyway, Taarabt will arrive on loan till June, buy-out clause fixed at €7 million. It was Seedorf personally who requested the player as he considers him a great prospect. Zaccardo won't go to Fulham cos he declined the destination.

Agreed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Many times over. We missed out on him once, and now again. Boy, I just hope Seedorf knows what he is doing in terms of players, or we are going to end up with an even bigger mess, if things don't go as well as planned. At least the doofus got two good players on the onset, Ibra and Silva.

The last things we need is filling the team with unproven players to go with an unproven coach.
