I don't particularly like them, though I consider Inter a ugly cousin. Juventus, I hate with a passion, particularly taking into account what most of their fans think of Milan and our players.

Still, it's not about that mostly, it's their reactions after it. I think a side like Juve should be aiming higher than being happy with a draw, no matter the opposition.

I felt like WE were even disappointed with the draw against Barca, and our standards are basically non-existent right now, so I don't get why they're so happy about a draw

I don't know what you're talking about. Remember Calciopoli? I'll never forget how they rigged the system and single-handedly won a bunch of league titles, catching up with us and seriously damaging in process the whole of Serie A.

Other then that, they're our rivals. History binds us with them in a bad way. Everyone in Italy who is a Milan fan would tell you this.

Oh, I remember Calcipoli alright, the last era where I was still game for football. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Thing is, we handed them a Scudetto or two, with our own mess. They had Ibra, but we had a massive team at that time, and with Juventus in the depths (remember who put them there), it was the perfect chance for us to catch both them and Inter.

Instead from around 2007 up until now, we've just been riding the waves, save for a mini project with Ibra and Silva, of sorts. You develop a good core, success almost always comes. In fact, we probably should never have let Ibra slip through at that time, for whatever it was worth. I'd much rather have preferred we signed him then.

That would surely have stopped Inter winning these bunch of league titles. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) But let's put it this way. For me, if we lose to Inter, it is not the end of the world. If we lose to Juventus, it darn sure is. Us trading blows with Inter while Juventus run away with titles year after year is not my idea of a good time, surely it is not.

I'm just painting a picture here, of course. All teams are rivals if we want to win a Scudetto any given year.

He's 20, he's still raw. Don't think he's overrated at all yet though, has huge potential.

& is there any doubt Messi will win everything? Blatter has already publicly blasted Ronaldo so it's not really a case of a conspiracy, it's just the truth.

I'm hoping Ibra wins tbh. Also the prize should be spread out more i'm tired of the same people winning its season after season maybe it should include what they do on a international level Portugal and Argentina are no slouches. Unless of course it already does. Surely Ribery or Robben should win it this season or Ibra.

The 06/07 season maybe was a miss that can be blamed on Ancelotti and the management, but overall, I don't see how Milan could have ended as a winner after Calciopoli. The affair hit us as well as Juve, pushing Inter forward with a big gap between us and them.

No, I won't forget that. Juventus may be sleazy with Moggi or nasty with Conte now, and the whole FIAT patronacy may be irritating, but I won't forget how Inter got away with trophies. No, no, no.

Can't fault you on that, man. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The atmosphere is infinitely more special during the derby, surely it is, from the stadium lights down to the player uniforms. That is why it is the best derby in the world, two evenly matched teams always, going at it in a heated contest with a historical context.

With Juventus, though I get a sense of revenge. And gloating, as the best team in Itlay.

Oh, I remember it one and all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I recall every player we had during that time, and my point was that it while we were not strong back then, we had a chance to be. The 2007 CL dream win aside, those were just years of mismanagement, when we could have won a few titles, and stopped Inter from winning a couple. Squandered.

Heck, like I said, we should have done more to nab Ibra's signature back then, at all costs. We were close.

BTW, last time we failed to qualify from group stage was in 1999-2000 season. We needed to beat Gala away while this game meant nothing to them, we led 2-1 till final minutes but the turks scored two late goals and we finished last (Chelsea and Hertha were the other teams).

I'm pretty sure the last time we failed to qualify was in 00/01 or 01/02. Our last game in the group was against Deportivo at San Siro, and we had to win at all cost. We ended up drawing 0-0 or 1-1, can't remember. I think it was by the time Zaccheroni was fired.
