That was surprisingly comfortable. Only time I had any bit of worry was Giovinco's overhead effort.

Loving Costant today. Yepes is a clown though.

Why? Because he got the soar losers all riled up? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I thought that bit was the best part of his game

Congrats people!!

Unfortunately for han, Allegri is staying because he just beat Juventus who a couple of weeks ago beat the Champs of Europe..(IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

3 points, a morale boost and a HUGE welldone to the lads for running 94mins. Though I didnt watch it, i followed the commentry here. But these boys deserve this win and I hope they will start to feel like a team after this. Whereby they fight together! Forza Milan!!

HUGE three points there. I thought everyone played very well. In particular De Sciglio played his best game to date, Montolivo played like a true Captain, and De Jong was everywhere closing down making stops. SOO great to see us beat Juventus. Maybe we slowed down their march to the scudetto.

First half felt a lot better than the second half. But a win is a win, a win against Juve is even better.

As for Allegri, we are probably stuck with him for the season, at this point.

Good, good match. And finally. First real Milan match in months. Important win, but let's not jump just yet.

kudos to Capt'n Jack who knew this all along; seems like vodka those help from time to time.

And undefeated Juve would've been much harder to beat IMO. I'm happy Inter beat them before this game. made it easier for us.

Ah well, who cares really. Important is, we defeated them, with their favorite weapon.

Such an important win. I'm certain this will boost team morale and hopefully the players will feel more comfortable with themselves and their teammates. First half was great, second one was bad though. Juve increased their pressing and we looked lost and powerless. That said, we fought teeth and nails and defended like a unit. And the fact that we won with a non-penalty makes it even better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

FORZA MILAN!!!

What a match. What a performance. What a result. I can honestly say I'm stunned.

Instead of a ranty paragraph, my points of note:

1: Constant, despite not being an LB, is getting better and better every match. He was absolutely wonderful tonight - Allegri seems to have seen something I did not and deserves full credit for finding a player with the potential to be our best LB since Janku.

2: Monto was a colossus. If he plays like that all the time I'd completely retract my Hamsik remark. His passing, vision, workrate and sheer tenacity were superb - he ran the show in the middle.

3: Our defence was absolutely supreme - I'm sure someone will discredit it in some way but tonight, for me, every defender was remarkable. It was beautifully organised, prepared to get dirty, and worked harder than anything.

4: Boateng, while not shining as brightly as he once did, actually played better tonight than he has this season. He wasn't perfect but I saw signs of progress and his desire was way higher than it has been previously.

5: Robinho could only have lasted the first hour but showed just why I've been praising him recently. Penalty wasn't great but who cares - his runs, work ethic and teamplay were top notch. And he's still coming back.

6: Juve were terrible - half down to not showing up, half down to us stopping them.

7: Tonight's Pirlo was the latter stages Milan Pirlo - and it was a joy to behold. We gave him quite a lot of space but he rarely did anything of note.

8: Who knew Pazzini could play the holding striker role? Some of his take downs, touches, and holding up play were absolutely stunning - there's more to Pazzi than just trying to score goals.

9: Quite simply our tactics, coupled with the team at its very best, worked. Consistency is the key - if that team put that level of work and organisation in every match then we would indeed be fighting for the league. Problem is we don't have consistency yet - nowhere near it.

10: I do back down slightly from my comment about us not being a top Serie A side - on that performance, we are. But it needs to sustain. How far are we from that? Who knows. The next match is crucial but this result tonight COULD kick start our season.

De Sciglio was Sky's MOM. I gotta say, his going forward tonight wasn't excellent, but his defending was top notch. Completely shut Asamoah down, and that's not something easy to do.

And I think from now on we should play Yepes-Mexes. Clearly they're not perfect, and maybe Zapata is even better then Mario, but this duo has now the needed cohesion and confidence. Let's not start playing with the defensive pairing unless it isn't necessary.
