Still refuse to admit you got a bit wrong when you said I ran to excuses when I'd made that "excuse" from the very beginning. oh well...

I give it to you, it was my mistake. But point is, we lost considerably more then we won. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

They didn't lose (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

They only drew with Lecce because of an isolated mistake, can you really see that happening again?

Yes. I can see everything happen what's possible, I don't tend to calculate the possibilities and then go with the biggest percentage. I agree it will be hard, but what's the point in predicting? It's just a mental fail-safe in case we loose, so the defeat won't hurt as much. But I'm passionate for Milan and every defeat hurts, no matter if the lost scudetto is already fixed in my mind or not.

You didn't see Juve loosing to Lecce either. What's the point of making these predictions?

Well they did loose, or at least Buffon did. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Seriously, losing was the first and last English language mistake I ever made, it was way back in my first commercial project (about weight loss). And right at the very start of the page, I misspelled "serious about losing weight?" as "serious about loosing weight".

The guy who reviewed it went, what, that's a typo. There haven't been any more typos after that for me, luckily. Or at least I try to minimize them as much as I can. But yeah, I do have hope that Cagliari will try and keep those idiots in check. Atalanta I am not as confident, because I heard there is an issue about buying a player with Juventus.

Atalanta has a clause in the sale of Padoin to Juventus (€4.5M) of €500,000 if and only if Juve wins the league.

Here's another point for you: with our key players available throughout the season we might have won some of them as well. despite Allegri! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 6 2012, 02:08 PM) *
Problem is league games rarely get as big as this derby or our 6-pointer with Juve. because as I said even if you lose to Juve in the first half of the season you still have time to recover. and technically a game with Juve or Inter means as much to the table as a game with Palermo or Napoli. most of our games with Roma, Inter and Juve are big only by name. especially when you think how much Roma and Inter have sucked. there's two exceptions which I mentioned above, tonight's derby (result remains to be seen) and the 6-pointer against Juve (drew, but robbed of a win).

Unlike league games are the CL games especially the knockout stages where one false steps means you're out. I think our games with Barca were big, so were our games with Arsenal.

1) This is more of a perception and philosophy question. You tend to cite the technical side. I say it's always important and special against Inter and Juventus, and against the Roman teams. It's because the fans expect and see it as a derby, especially in Italy. I remember Milan fans saying the season of 1999/2000 was their best in the whole decade, based on our big win against Inter. They are technically speaking wrong, but I can see where they come from.

So you can ask any Italian Milan fan if we did good this year against big opposition, I don't doubt there will be many different answers.

2) Okay. Let's see our CL record: 2 lost, 1 drawn, 1 won. Not exactly staggering.

1) Quite the contrary; we beat Inter home & away last season yet I remember the importance of those games being questioned by some here because Inter were shitty. you consider games with big name teams big no matter their form. but some don't. like you said different people have different perceptions of a "big game".

2) Not exactly bad either, given that we had some key absentees.

You see, we could go on and on, it will never end. you can always question our record in big games and I can always point out our injury problems.

Wanna end it here? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

What the...?

Yes, and with Atalanta not fighting relegation, or competing for a Europa League berth, I wonder why have the final match at all. Stupid, stupid clause, and that too comes to bit us in behind on the last match day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) If Cagliari can't do the job today (draw, or somehow win against Juventus), then no one will.

Because I can't see them squandering amounts like these in millions, just for the sake of sportsmanship.

Oh, and by the same token (IMG:http://i39.tinypic.com/33nkdxh.gif) Totti. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) For the penalty miss against Juventus. I know that would still have tied them with us, but nevertheless it would have counted as a 2-1 loss for the turds from Turin.

As things stand they will become only the second team in Italy to win a Scudetto undefeated. After us.

I hope they remain undefeated for so long that they'll break our record, but in turn we win the Scudetto. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

In other news, another bad luck has struck us, Napoli lost to Bologna. goes without saying if they'd won, Inter would have nothing to play for tonight except their pride. but now the 4th CL spot is at stake. though they have about 3.5% chance of getting it!

Thanks, but I'll skip tis party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I want them to taste defeat today, and that's that. Record is safe, Scudetto is back on, and karma will strike again for the good of humanity.

That'd be too good to be true. I'll settle for something less unrealistic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Regardless of the road we choose, let's hope for the best later today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) However you look at it, it's a big, big task, asking for a draw or Juventus loss. Those blue and black thugs get one goal, they can effectively get another and kill off the game. And then the freaks in Atalanta, we all know they are happy snug in the middle of the table.

Plus there is the case of their player that they want Juventus to buy too. Anything can happen, yes, but still.

Nope. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That's advanced English. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I actually meant in professional work, not internet forums. But I am, after all is said and done, only human. Or at least I think I am, hehe.
