If you ask me, my best scenario would be Milan hold on first half - concede around 50' or 60', then push to attack and score late around 80'. 1-1, ideal result.

Seedorf-Van Bommel-Nocerino
Abate-Mexes-Nesta-Antonini

Pato is needed for the element of surprise with his pace,and who better to supply him with the magical pass than Seedorf.The problem with Barca at San Siro is that they had the ball always in our half,that created some dangerous situations.So,if in some way we can push them up which honestly won't work with my formation.They'll be less dangerous then if they're sitting in our half.Another thing is that Barca's defence tends to be asleep for the first 10-15minutes,that's when we have to hit them!

I'd personally sacrifice a forward for Ambro.

Ambro's work on Messi in the first leg was immense, but that left a wide open space for Xavi to pick the ball up from deep and literally walk through our defense.

So Ambro can shadow Messi around while VB takes care of his usual work.

In all honesty that second forward is unnecassary, him and Ibra are non factors throughout most of the game, simply because you do not have the ball, thus that is one man less that could be contributing a lot more in midfield

And to be honest, things could go nasty too. It happened before, and with the scoundrels who will play in the match, could happen again. So be prepared for that, unless we crack first.

If we bow out gracefully, and the world sees the true face of UEFArcelona, it would be a nice end to the run.

But don't you think playing two 34(?) year olds could diminish our attacking plays.First,Ambro played the Catania and the Barca match,so he'll be pretty much tired.We could try this plan out and do some substitutions when the time is right.But as said before,Barca tend to be more open to take goals in the first minutes.If we can score a goal early then sub in a forward then why not as well.Another idea,would be playing Urby as a midfield instead of Seedorf,he can offer a high work rate,then we can insert Seedorf/Aquilani anytime we'd want.

Agree. My only worry is - will Ambrosini hold such tempo? He played 90 against them in Wednesday, 90 against Catania, and now again another 90, or possibly 120.

Add to that Camp Nou is a bigger field, hence more ground to cover. If Barca play wide, I really cant see Ambrosini covering much ground vs his stupendous showing at the San Siro.


With that said, I believe Allegri has his tactical cards close to his chest (hence players will be readied for this clash) - We have a very favorable result, and we need to consider this as a final to get through.
