QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Feb 25 2012, 10:38 PM) btw here is the reason for pato sub
“Pato was not 100 per cent fit, as he had a muscular twinge during the first half, so rather than risk I preferred to replace him. There's a surprise.

I'm not too harsh about this result. We played really well, and overall deserved to win, but both sides had a valid goal chopped off and it was just good to see us not being bullied like we were in the first match.
The biggest disappointment for me wasn't the subs, odd though the Ambro for Urby one was; it was the space afforded for the cross for Matri's goal. As soon as the ball fell to Pepe I was screaming for him to be closed down, but no one did and all that time for a pinpoint cross was telling. Knew a goal was coming there.
Abbiati has also completely won me over - his save at Matri's feet (Matri, right?) was sensational.
A good game, shame we didn't win, but glad to see our current good form is continuing.

If Muntari's goal had been allowed, it'd have been a completely different game on 2-0. Juve stole our win. QUOTE (William405 @ Feb 25 2012, 11:58 PM) Yeah, let's blame Allegri!Bravo.
Maybe, just only acknowledge the fact that he set up one hell of a team with all those injuries, and stop blaming him for a sub that didn't have that "big" of an effect on the game. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) But,I mean you can't blame Allegri for thinking about the win,and closing Juve down.Ambro has always been positive when coming off the bench as well.Even if they had lots of posession, the only one who could have made it matter was Pirlo,so maybe there should have been better marking on Pirlo as well.If I'm not mistaken the goal, from out sides, and Silva didn't cover Matri quite well...though it was Silva's only mistake as well.

Park the bus for 20 minutes and play a Nocerino-MvB-Ambrosini-Muntari midfield, at San Siro? I'm sorry, but that's small-club mentality thinking. We were doing very well closing Juventus down and hitting them on the counter, especially with El Shaarawy instead of Pato. It was a big mistake, that despite the individual errors (Antonini for not closing Pepe, Thiago for not anticipating Matri), it cost us the game.

So,ok,first you admitted that the goal didn't have to do anything with the Ambrosini sub,nice... Now,if those individual mistakes didn't happen, and we still won the game, everyone would be praising Allegri I guess? I guess we can just disagree,I thought the sub was fine, not genious, not bad.Allegri said all he wanted was 3 points, ugly small club mentality, you seem to think he has...although we won Arsenal 4-0.He thought the situation needed more defensive coverage, and in the end it wasn't the deciding factor, but to each his own I guess.

It was not closing them down, it was parking the bus, something clubs like Lecce, Novara and Siena do when they're leading against a tough side. Subbing Emanuelson, the only player that allowed us to play some proper offensive football and hit Juventus on the counter, with a goofball that lost the ball 4/5 of the times he touched, is an unforgivable error. I was cursing out loud Allegri when he made the change. And before the sub, Juventus were playing some boring football with the occasional scoring opportunity, hardly a divine force that needed to be dealt with in such extreme circumstances.

Wouldn't you have been satisfied with the 3 points no matter how they came?!I mean come on,it's the last 20minutes against Juve,we're leading even with all those injuries,no Ibra...Did you really care about the image of our team at that moment, wtf?!I mean let's speak about tactics,facts,etc...I don't want to speak about small club mentality or so,because the fact is...if we had parked the bus on Juve today, and scored one goal due to a counter, most of us would have been satisfied considring the circumstances. Also,Robinho was amazing (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .
