First injury of the season - Rodney Strasser has been ruled out for 2-3 months with an ankle injury.

lol, that's the second, and we haven't even started yet. And people thought Strasser would be given a chance with VB out of the picture

Forgot about Muntari's injury (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

At least that might force us to buy a mid.

I have splendid news. Pato is injured again.

QUOTE
Alexandre Pato suffered a knock to his right ankle during Brazil's training session yesterday following a challenge from Inter Milan's defender, Juan.

The attacker will receive physiotherapy to treat the injury, with the Brazil medical team hopeful he will still be able to play a part in Brazil's Olympic campaign that kicks off against Egypt on July 26.

The 22-year old striker's career has been dogged by a recurring thigh injury in recent years, and he was limited to just 17 appearance for his club side during the 2011-12 season.

Just last month the player came out and said he had put his injury troubles behind him after he came off the bench and scored in a friendly against USA.

Mano Menezes' starting eleven for the London games is expected to be: Rafael Cabral; Rafael, Juan, Thiago Silva, Marcelo; Sandro, Oscar, Romulus; Neymar, Hulk, Leandro Damiao. Their final warm-up will come against Stuart Pearce's Team GB side at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on 20 July.

At least it's not his usual muscle strains, a knock to the ankle is understandable

This topic need to be revived. Robinho is out for 4 weeks, while it's not news that Pato will be out for a month and a half. So much from blaming the pitch.

^ First they reported a 3-4 weeks absense then I read somewhere on twitter that he'll be missing for around a month and a half, I wouldn't be surprised if more.

Let's already cross him off the list then. Pato was my only hope for this season, but if he continues with his old habit, might as well raise the white flag.

We're used to Pato getting injured all the time but WTF happened to Robinho? there's hardly any quality left whatsoever in our XI. (note that I'm considering Robinho "quality", of how we've fallen).

I don't get it, why should we get so many injuries? why don't other clubs suffer from this **** every season? B&G fanboys can blame the lack of quality and star names on FFP but what about this? clearly a bunch of incompetent fools are running this club. even if it's Allegri's training methods, it's still the management's fault.

It's almost like a joke, the season hadn't even started, Pato got injured for 40 days.

Week1 and Robinho out for a month.

Who's next? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Should we make a competition betting on players to get injured ? Boateng is in my list. Also Montolivo.

Month and a half is a speculation. It wasn't confirmed or anything.

Ambro and Mexes returned to full training today.
