Horrible second half. Robinho should have never been subbed. But beyond that, we looked half-arsed and demotivated. Luck wasn't on our side either. Two points lost.

All good runs have to come to an end I suppose. Regardless of their position, away to Fiorentina is not exactly an easy 3-pointer.

Eriksen would be nice. I hope he turns out good, what I've seen impressed me so far, but...you really never can tell. Of all the mentioned, Sheva was the only one who constantly made goals out of those situations (1-2 goals per season). Costa was lethal with Fiorentina but lost his touch at Milan with his free-kicks. Same happened with Pirlo in the last 2-3 seasons. ----------- I must say, I still expect more out of Aquilani. He simply fades and his concentration disappears near match end. That wasn't the first time this happened, and to paraphrase han, it sure cannot be blamed on his "adaptation time" anymore. |
