This game shows how Yepes, Antonini and Ambrosini cost us the game, when Mexes, Taiwo and Aquilani should have been playing instead. But what's the point in bashing Allegri anymore. The guy is making a fool of himself way too easily.

This is what happens when you don't really invest in the team during the summer. Needed some serious signings, a few top class players who would go straight into the team.
Instead we have effectively the same old guard who managed to win the league last year but who clearly didn't have another season in them without reinforcements. Instead the best player we got was Aquilani. A decent signing but hardly a Pirlo replacement. Milan have stagnated rather than grown - I know I churn out the same old comments, but the more I see this team, the more true it gets. |
