Naah, it isn't great to see such a undeserved win. But, no one is at fault more then the Germans. They had it all 3 times and squandered everything.
I think it's time to lift the German strength myth and say it out loud; somethings definitively wrong with them.
From 2000-2012 German clubs/NT selections played:
UEFA/Europa Cup finals - 2; lost - 2 Champions League finals - 4; lost - 3 European Championship - 1; lost - 1 FIFA World Cup - 1; lost - 1 + 2 bronze medals ----------------------------------------------------- played: 8 finals, lost 7

QUOTE (X-Offender @ May 20 2012, 12:51 AM) Man, who would've thought Chelsea would actually win this one! Average team, crappy season, yet they manage to beat Barcelona and Bayern, at their own stadium. Absolutely stunning. It just goes to show you how unpredictable football can be. Yeah. Well, di Matteo worked some magic as well. But Bayern really disappointing me. I don't think this team has it to try a third final win. Guys like Schweini, Robben, Ribery and Lahm may have missed one last opportunity. Sadly.

Reporter: "They say the Germans never lose on penalties?" Ashley Cole: "They do now!"
He's really had an amazing career.
Arsenal Premier League: 2001–02, 2003–04 FA Cup: 2002, 2003, 2005 FA Community Shield: 2002, 2004 Chelsea Premier League: 2009–10 FA Cup: 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 League Cup: 2007 FA Community Shield: 2009 UEFA Champions League: 2011–12
7 FA Cups is insane. If he wins something with England, I think you'd have to put a serious arguement forward for him being Englands greatest ever player.

Probably the best CL final since the Istanbul.
I said I had a feeling Chelsea would win, and the more the game progressed I was more convinced of it. their mentality above all was amazing. they were never intimidated by the atmosphere of Allianz Arena, not even after conceding a 83rd minute goal. I think a lot of credit should go to Di Matteo. completely revived that team. yes they were crap when they lost 3-1 to Napoli, but even since AVB was fired and Matteo took control, they looked like a different team. I swear I said somewhere back then that they'd go all the way and win it. they were the always underdogs this season and took advantage of it.
Luiz and Cahill were amazing, never let their team miss Terry and Ivanovic. Brazil will have a great CB pairing in Silva-Luiz.
Torres may not be scoring but he's amazing. I've always liked him and would love to see him at Milan someday. surely he can't remain a bench warmer at Chelsea. he's too good for that.
Nothing needs to be said about Drogba. I'm happy he finally got to win the thing. too bad Terry, Ivanovic and Ramirez missed the action.
I feel sorry for Neuer and Lahm, they deserved better. the rest of them... not much. not even their manager and his stupid substitution.

Yup, it seemed like they went all the way to the top quietly and without making a fuss. Especially after they knocked out Barcelona. Credit to them for doing all the talking on the field. However, I believe, just as Filipo, that the best team lost. This considering the 90 minutes of football and the chances that were squandered. Oh well, Congrats Chelsea .. A long time coming (IMG: style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

Very happy for Chelsea, I absolutely did not want Bayern to win it.
And once Drogba equilised, there was no doubt in my mind that the thing was 100% Chelsea's

I admit he's a better player than I previously gave credit for, much better, but if medal tally is the only thing which matters then Seedorf's Holland's best ever player too. Cole has an exceptional club medal haul, but suggesting he's the best player England have ever produced might attract some strong rebuttal. Good luck with that though (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
