Andriy Shevchenko is reportedly regarded by Chelsea teammates as a 'snitch'.

The Mirror says the rest of the players blame the £30million flop for the row between Abramovich and boss Jose Mourinho that is threatening to sabotage their season. They feel that Shevchenko, a close friend of Abramovich, is the owner's eyes and ears in the dressing room.

And they have been unsettled by the fact that the smallest details of the struggling striker's dealings with Mourinho appear to have found their way back to the owner.

"The players feel that if he is talking to Abramovich about his relationship with Jose, then what else is getting back," a source close to the team said last night. "They feel uncomfortable about the situation.

"It's a shame because the players think Sheva's basically a decent bloke but they can't really trust him any more and that's obviously no good for team morale."

Andriy Shevchenko wants his former AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti to replace Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

Shevchenko is reported by the Italian press to have told Roman Abramovich that Ancelotti is the man to get the best out of him and advised the Chelsea owner to bring the Italian to Stamford Bridge.

Shevchenko is supposed to have told Abramovich that "Ancelotti's the man for the job, he's just the man for us", which will hardly endear him to Mourinho, whose long-term position at Chelsea is in doubt.

Mourinho and several senior Chelsea players are suspicious of the perceived influence he has over the owner, which is shown by Abramovich's desire to recruit Avram Grant, the Portsmouth director of football, to improve the striker's form.

For his part, Abramovich is angry with Mourinho for failing to get the best out of a proven goalscorer who cost a club-record £30 million last summer and has taken the view that a player such as Shevchenko should be able to be integrated into any system.

Mourinho contends that he has done everything he can, defending Shevchenko publicly and playing him in every match until a Carling Cup tie away to Blackburn Rovers at the end of October, giving him a rest and attempting to motivate him further by saying that he is not one of his so-called "untouchables".

Wouldn't put it past her, she seems like she is capable opf something like that, and if I where Sheva and she was carrying my child I would have also gone.

But I highly doubt that this is really what happened
