Now I don't follow you, not following me.

Irrelevant. We will sign a replacement for Pirlo. Come on. You really think Milan will continue without? But to answer your question: Seedorf. I prefer Seedorf over Pirlo, but only when Seedorf feels like playing. Seedorf is far someone who you can rely on though. I actually wanted to him leave too, but alright, as backup for the newbie it's not that bad. There will be a new player, and he will be miles better for Milan that Pirlo has been in his latest years with Milan. That's talk about the CM position. In front of the defense Van Bommel and Ambrosini are excellent, and thank God we won't ever see Pirlo there anymore in Milan's shirt. Of course, I know most of you don't like to see him there also. The new signing who we for sure will get will be a CM of course. One who will do a much better job than Pirlo. How can I tell? I just don't rate Pirlo when it comes to a Milan player in the present (nor future).

Ok, so this brings us to, Ganso is the replacment for Pirlo ? Is he really a decent CM? 'Cos from how much I've seen he plays as a AMF, and he's not good at defending either. So if Pirlo left because he was not good at defending, why the hell buying someone that can't defend ? And please don't bring another player's name on the scene, 'cos we were talking about Ganso and Pirlo.

Seedorf, Rino, Ambrosini and Van Bommel, none of them are in their best shape or reliable enough, and I don't expect them to be. They're too old. Pirlo is younger than any of them, and still, he was the one to leave.

And I don't think is fair to compare - normal or the worst Pirlos game, with the times when Seedorf is on the mood. I'm sure that if Pirlo wouldn't got injured, he'd continue his great appearances like he started on the start of the season.

Put Ganso at AM, and Boateng at CM, problem solved. With replacing I meant replacing playmaking role, not necessary the CM spot.

I disagree. Van Bommel is very reliable, unlike Pirlo. Van Bommel is in excellent shape. Ambro is more reliable than Pirlo too. Gattuso was not that awful as most say. Seedorf I agree. All are old, Pirlo is too. Who cares he's a bit younger. When it comes to old players it matters who adds the most to the team. Of them it's Van Bommel followed by Ambro, certainly not Pirlo.

I'm talking about how Pirlo is most the times. I believe that's fair enough. And I bashed Seedorf too.

@Bluey:

Really? Coz I don't see Fabregas playing deep. He's gotten used to playing behind the strikers and finding that final ball right? I mean, I know his idol is Pep, one of the best metronomes around and the Pirlo before Pirlo, but....

Boateng as a CM..I'm not sure. It requires a kind of tactical discipline he doesn't have...and would probably affect his other talents. Backing up the DM and making plays to the front three is a job best left to cooler, more skilful heads.

I like the Boa exactly where he is now. He wasn't played as treqqie because of his insane passing skills, he was played coz he could be a major presence in the box as well as being the man Allegri needed who could capably press far up the pitch.

I was born in 1992 too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . So there's a chance I'll buy his jersey, since Pirlo moved out.

Awesome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I don't know but I kinda like the year 1992, it was a great one for me personally (was what, seven back then). And also my country won the cricket World Cup that year. The next year I loved was 1994, mainly because Brazil won the FIFA World Cup, and of course Paolo made it to the finals.

By the same token, I kinda feel great we got this El Shaarawy guy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Let's hope he lives up to the hype!

ALLEGRI: "Boateng could be the left midfielder"

But, what if El Shaarawy is the only attacking midfielder we sign this summer ?

EDIT:

I guess this proves me wrong: ALLEGRI: "Trequartista? Binho is available"

This means that acutally there's a chance we won't sign no one during this summer.

More then solid, we need a solution player, a player that gives creativity and imagination. Especially if Cassano leaves. If Pirlo won't be replaced, we'll have another Shevchenko case.

Fabregas won't be coming. The English papers say Arsenal rejected a €35 million offer from Barça. I don't think we can do better than that. As things stand right now, I'd be extremely happy if we signed Ganso. This guy has huge potential.
