It's obvious to me that Cassano will see out the remaining 2 years on his contract and then walk for free to Samp. he won't be able to contribute to us past 32 anyway. right now he has to stay even if he prefers to go back to a lazier place.

Agreed. Keeping him for the next two years would be the best solution for both parties.

Haha.
I don't know if he will go to Samp, but he sure could lose his motivation even if he ended up staying... He is that type of player. Does whatever the f@ck he wants at any given moment. A Cassano with a deflated motivation is a minus for a any team.

I fell in love with the guy earlier on, but nowadays he's immensely irritating.

through out his whole career he has had that "don't give a fluck" attitude, i have a afinnity to him becuase he comes from Bari (and is still worshipped there) but i can understand why people can't take to him.
After all you're taling about a man who was once asked what he plans to do when he stops playing he answer.....get as fat as i can! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I didn't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) I just consider him a very talented player, but a very naughty human. How he faltered and wasted himself at other big clubs, Roma, Madrid and more, it's somewhat depressing, if anything. So much raw talent, but so much raw wastage to go with it. Makes you respect the less talented but hardworking players.

And now instead of settling in a big club like Milan he's planning a way out. Way to go!

Naughty is one thing. I can handle naughty; but he's not just that. He's being disrespectful and ungracious. It hasn't been very long and he was a free agent who wasn't exactly on anyone's priority list. Milan made him come back, believed him even during his recuperation period.

Yes, quite. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) His performances for Milan, little that they were, contributed to his place in the Euros.

I agree. I remember Allegri saying, "I hope to give a fully fit Cassano to Prandelli!". The whole club did a lot for him, and now he's like, "I dunno. Maybe I'll go away."

So long and thanks for the all the fish. IF what he says is true.

As mishie said, he's always been like this. Anyone who expected him to change just because he plays for Milan is being very naive.

Like this? Cassano's been knowing for being a trouble maker, like Balotelli, not an ungrateful c*nt.
