How many times does Allegri need to understand that playing Pato as a winger is both a waste of talent and unneccesary switch?

Of course - you could say the same for their 2nd goal. But my point was that we've had chances - we need to take some.

Definitely. although we only had 1 good chance through Zee. Pirlo's FK was as good as it gets so no wasted chance there

Madrid have had all the luck... that being said, they are making their own luck with good runs and asking questions of our defense.
Our opportunities to go forward are not happening frequently enough and when we do get possession we are giving it away too easily.
I dont think Gattuso is doing that badly but he wont be able to last much longer.
I cannot believe Seedorf is still on the park, i would have taken him off after 20 mins, he is just too sh!t, he doesnt help the forwards or the defense, he just drifts in and out of space aimlessly so its like we are playing with 10 men.
Pato hasn't got into the game at all so we are virtually in 9.
Im confident we will have a strong second half but i dunno if we can turn the result around.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) I never thought I'd say this, but I want Seedorf to get an ugly kick somewhere and that should end his season. The freak was afraid the ball might hit him, if so he should either stop playing football, or don't stand in the funking wall. That free kick should never have gone in (at least not like this). For all his experience, he seems to be filled with stupidity to the neck. I can very well take a 0-2 scoreline in the first half, but not giving away dead brain goals like this.

And oh, thank you Bonera, while we are at it. Thank you old hags Zambrotta and Gattuso for not covering CRON and allow him to pass to Ozil who flicked it over Bonera's shoulder. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) At least Pirlo is taking this game seriously, that was one wild free kick that almost turned into a goal, if not for a super save from Iker. Speaking of which Amelia is also playing pretty well. Three or four great saves!

As for the Mou vs Allegri argument, Mourinho did not have to do anything special, while Allegri already did. He stupidly played our Serie A team sheet and formation in the CL. Talk about being naive, inside out.

Those 10 awfull minutes with unbelivable many false passes costed us the match. I feel so sorry for Milan.
Anyway, I hope we realize it's over for Ronaldinho. Gattuso and Seedorf also slow down the game, but Ronaldinho is killing it. Allegri has to cross the 4-3-3 off at once.

Agreed on most counts, however it's Seedorf that slows down the temp, Gattuso (even though he tries really hard) can barely keep up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) That's what happens when you are touching mid 30s, and have attackers on the right side of 20 rocketing towards you. It's not just them, most player with old legs have to go through this.

In a perfect world, both would have come on in the last third of the match. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And give their all. Not like this, starting from the word go and having to keep up with equally fresh opponents.

Hahaha. Really. I know you don't approve of Seedorf, but c'mmon. They're all at fault.

He moved AWAY from the ball!!! FFS it was his fault! And the fact that he's been playing like cr@p doesn't help his cause.

As for Dinho, just like our other attackers he hasn't been able to get into the match. That's because of the midfield who can't seem to transition that ball from defence to attack, because they are so slow.

Am I watching a different game? Why is everyone talking about a 4-3-3? It's a 4-3-1-2 with Ronaldinho central behind the two strikers. We've got no width from the midfield though, so Pato/Ibra are often drifting out wide.
