QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Sep 11 2010, 08:46 PM) nesta cannot be replaced... and we have to play one DM at all cost as yet again it is proven the number of DMs adds nothing towards defence and i feel sorry for ibra he had a good game imo so sad he missed the PK One thing that struck me about Ibra was how hard he worked. he fought a lot, but tended to overdo things on some occasions when a simpler option was available. The penalty miss I saw coming from a mile away, sometimes you just can't even get one thing right to go for you. But imo, Pirlo should be our regular taker. Obviously scoring that penalty wouldn't have effected the outcome imo, they probably thought they'd give hime his debut goal

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Sep 11 2010, 08:50 PM) I took a peek at R&B and some are already blaming the loss on Moratti paying off the refs. Pathetic. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Well there were a lot of questionable calls in the game, we had 3 goals ruled out!!

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Sep 11 2010, 09:41 PM) Emberassing match. They should be ashamed.
Ratings: Abbiati (5.5) - Bonera (4), Sokratis (4), Antonini (4.5), Thiago Silva (5) - Ambrosini (5), Gattuso (4.5), Pirlo (4.5) - Ronaldinho (4.5), Pato (5.5), Ibrahimovic (4.5); subs: Abate (5.5), Pippo (6.5), Robinho (6); Allegri (4). Agreed on all bar Pato - he was a 7. Had a good game. Probably our only player who really did.

QUOTE (Danny @ Sep 11 2010, 11:52 PM) Quite agonising display in which quite a few posters ended up looking pretty silly tonight.
Ibra's debut was abysmal, he was so far up his own behind again it was ridiculous. More concerned with trying to be clever, he was completely ineffective and did anyone really believe that penalty was going in?
Ronaldinho struggled horribly and just couldn't get into it like he normally can, and was unsurprisingly removed after 55 minutes.
Pato was bloody unlucky, our best player and had some bad calls go against him.
Robinho did adequately but no more - time will see the best of him.
Pirlo's distribution continues to desert him, and I don't think I'd mind seeing him dropped. Been off form since that 13 gme run last season ended.
As for that defence, good grief - it was opened easier than a bag of crisps.
Clearly last week we were up against a team who didn't have a clue - tonight's opponents did and our frailties were exposed again. +1 Our weak link was Ibra ... If anything, he should have been dropped from Inzaghi a long time ago. Since he arrived, he has given nothing but publicity stuns. As for Pirlo, the man is a menace in midfield, he really is the mechanic in our engine room. I would rather drop Ibra and Ronnie ahead of him anyday. The main factor for this loss, as han said .. we went into this game thinking it was already won. Had Allegri concentrated on the same line up as against Lecce (bar Nesta & Seedorf), then ease in Ibra and/or Robinho as time passed, when the team got its foot in the match. We might have come out of that stadium with a better result than nothing.
