Just to clarify this idiotic news clip from goal.com;

In order for players to get paid they're designated wage (i.e Pirlo 5m/year) We pay them their gross salary and then tax hits it and they get their net salary.

Pirlo is supposed to earn 5m season. We pay him 10m which gets taxed at 48% and he gets his income.


Over 4 years we will pay Ibra; 18m a season, which gets taxed and he gets his wage of 9m.


The 102 million is blown way out of proportion to make our management look like idiots when players like Ronaldinho recieve 16m; kaladze 8m; inzaghi 8m; nesta 10m; all per season.


Kaka was earning 18m as well.



We shouldn't act surprised, its in no way a big deal. All clubs function like this except spain, which they will also be starting to in January where their tax will increase from 24 to 48%.

Allegri: 'Milan best attack in Europe'

Massimiliano Allegri believes that if Zlatan Ibrahimovic joins Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho, “Milan will have the best attack in Europe.”
The Rossoneri are expected to complete their swoop for the Barcelona striker over the weekend and he could be presented to the fans ahead of Sunday’s Serie A opener with Lecce.

“If the President does buy Ibrahimovic, we will all be very happy, because he is a champion who can complete an already very strong strike force,” said the Coach.

“I wouldn’t say Milan are Scudetto contenders with Ibra, as I think this squad is strong enough to challenge even without him.

“Having said that, the trident of Pato-Ibrahimovic-Ronaldinho will be the best attack in Europe. Plus we have Marco Borriello, Pippo Inzaghi and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, all world class forwards.

“In any case, the most important thing is the game with Lecce. Hopefully we can celebrate Ibrahimovic’s arrival with a victory. Borriello shouldn’t be worried, as he had an exceptional campaign and it’s impossible to always play the same XI.”

Pato was a major injury doubt for Sunday’s Serie A match, but is in the squad. Only Mathieu Flamini and Massimo Oddo are ruled out.

So I've been reading up on a Barca forum and a poster read on some Barca twitter page that the plane that was scheduled to take Ibra to Milan was cancelled. Don't know if this has been mentioned in the live updates.

Again, this to me points to the deal somehow falling through Galliani is obviously trying to squeeze out a small sum. Next thing we'll hear is how they tried their best but couldn't make it happen...

It's normal if Rosell refuses our 25m offer. He authorized Galliani to speak with Ibra knowing we will offer 40 m. Now we want to change the deal.

It doesn't matter when, I just want to see Ibra here 'cos maybe Galliani is not offering everything we have, knowing that we can sign Robinho in a minute.

I can't even think how Ibrahimovic and Guardiola would feel and how would Ibrahimovic play under Guardiola if this deal don't go through. They said too much and maybe we can use those declarations to low our bid for Ibrahimovic. Still as one member said that that would make our relations with Barca go in a bad way, but I think we should deff. use that.
