Selling Flamini is a good idea imo. He didn't really impress during pre-season games. He was not even a first team player all these years in Milan. He never became the same player he was in his last year in Arsenal. And he earns a crazy sum as wage which is too much comparing to his level of play.
Also, our three man midfield would look like this : Ambro - Pirlo - Boateng. The rest of midfielders are substitutes. Merkel and Strasser can play a few games, too. So really, we don't need the man. I hate Ibra myself, but I want Milan to actually win again! and we can't win with Flamini and Huntelaar but we can do it with Ibra. I remember the meeting with sponsers, Berlusconi said he would spend his money on a champion who can make a difference to Milan. I believe Ibra is the one. I agree with Tennie. This guy is scum. Our priorities are off. I would've spent 40 million completely different, and probably have 3 quality players to show for it. And this is Ibra's last big money move. Unless he retires with us, this will be a net loss. So that means that he BETTER deliver trophies. If he doesn't, I'll start mailing bullets to Via Turati.
@ Han: Robinho isn't restricted to the left. In Brazil's most recent friendly, neymar was on the left, robinho on the right. Except robinho floated around the entire pitch, playing andre santos in on the left, feeding pato in from the right, linking up with every midfielder. I'd prefer our negotiations with Ibra to fail, take Robinho on loan, do NOT renew dinho's contract. Sign Dzeko. and Pato-Dzeko-Robinho would be our attackers. So it should be announced in about 6 hours. Milannews.it is reporting that the cabinet in milanello are just waiting for the word to print the first official jersey.
