True, perhaps we'll pick someone up.
goal.com has a few quotes from Galliani, and he's stressing that we have a team thats capable of competing for the Scudetto. That kind of attitude is why we haven't won it in so long. Barrios was the world's leading scorer a couple of seasons back, when he played here at Chile's Colo-Colo. He's pretty decent, and hey, he went on to become Bundesliga's second top scorer...
He's actually argentinian, but was nationalized in order to play for Paraguay, and he'll likely have a good world cup. So if we're going for him, we should do so before, not after. ...though I don't think he's worth 30M. But he's a good addition. |
