I'll be all for it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) When a governing/facilitating body is holding the game back, it's time for a new body!

FIFA's biggest problem is the management. No need for all the countries to pull out, thats a hassle. I think id just be easier to force Blatter and Co. to retire (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But they won't, that's the problem. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Far too much dirty laundry in there to bring out in the open!

Agreed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Powerful media helps, something which was not present up till, what early 90s. Still don't think major changes will occur anytime soon. Just like I said in one of my earlier posts a few weeks back. The "sheeps" will get in the way - as much as you, I or anyone else with knowledge wants to see some new faces, changes, etc.

Oh, btw the "FIFA family" reminds me of the GDR bosses on the eve of the Berlin walls fall. What did Erich Honecker, General Secretary of the Socialist Unity Party, say in 1989? "We have done our perestroika, we have nothing to restructure", or "The wall will be there for another 100 years."
Sepp Blatter in 2011: "Crisis? There is no crisis."

Well said, LaPalma. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) FIFA has lost the trust fast these last few years!

QUOTE
Head of Argentina FA

"It looks like England is always complaining so please I say will you leave the Fifa family alone!" he says to strong applause. "We always have attacks from England," he adds. "Their journalism is more busy lying than telling the truth."

QUOTE
Cyprus FA:

"Allegations - what a beautiful English word," scoffs the Cyprus FA delegate. "Someone stands up says a few things... without a single shred of truth."

QUOTE
Head of the Congo FA:

"He who accuses must provide evidence," he fumes. "A single candidate sometimes proves that people are satisfied with that candidate," says the Congo FA man, to loud applause from the floor.

And as for those that still believe there's no bias against England, or racism within the FIFA ranks..

Vice chairman Grondana

QUOTE
‘I do not believe a Jew can ever be a referee at that level (Argentine Premier League) because it’s hard work and, you know, Jews don’t like hard work’

My personal favourite part from Grondana.

QUOTE
"Yes, I voted for Qatar, because a vote for the US would be like a vote for England, and that is not possible.

"But with the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left."

So basically, because we made them look like little girls, they don't like us anymore. Wah, wah!

I think it's definitely time for us to pull out of FIFA. What's the point of entering competitions we can not possibly win? Regardless of footballing ability.

There isn't. Your guy Chapman simply didn't accept the laws of the game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Edit: Oh, just to clarify. Even Stalin would have been proud of this verbal execution of the FA.

In a proper world, this Grondana dickhead should be fired and made example of, after saying something like that.
