Since you asked....
(one post from the La Liga thread and one post from the transfer thread. The rest from this match thread)

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 9 2009, 12:52 PM) *
Funnily enough, the original title was something else (a normal title) but they changed it to make it more interesting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) typical goal.com

No they're not. imagine a Milan side with an age average of 33 (as it was against Catania) playing a team like Barca in Europe next season... they won't be able to keep up with fast paced teams. I don't want another embarrassing CL exit like the one against Arsenal. Milan needs to bring down its age average, period.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 04:50 AM) *
Maybe stamina was the right word not speed. some players are naturally slow(/fast) and that doesn't change much when they get older, but stamina DOES. it depends on each individual but usually when a footballer reaches his 30's, he starts to decline in that aspect. they can run as fast as ever but not for a whole game but 60-70 minutes (it depends on many things). now imagine having at least 7 of them in the XI...

In that case I can see us welcoming Sheva with open arms... a former legend for free? no way Galliani's going to ignore that. after all he loves champions no matter how old or ineffective they are.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 01:02 PM) *
I wouldn't say Canna is a Juve player yet. I don't trust Galliani, and his love for Old Champions.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 03:08 PM) *
Absolutely. the best players must play. something Carlo ignores all the time since he has his favorites.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 03:14 PM) *
Of course I'm an idiot to think Pato is better than Seedorf, who has been terrible so far. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 04:29 PM) *
Depressing. we're miles behind likes of Barca, Man U, Chelsea in terms of football.

I have to accept it. it's over for us. we're no longer a power to be reckoned with in Europe [not that we are in Italy] as long as those who are managing the club don't change their ways and philosophy.

I can see us doing shockingly bad in the CL next season. mark my words. maybe then Galliani and co will wake up

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 04:41 PM) *
You too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) time will tell (if it hasn't already, like Bremen kicking us out of the UEFA Cup)

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 10 2009, 04:50 PM) *
That alibi has become a cliche. forget Bremen, remember Arsenal!

oddly enough i am not to confident about this one, nedved's brace last week was stunning and amauri is in his good form. Senderos should see the star as he can win some aerial balls from iaquinta/amauri. Also i will be the first to comment Senderos' Improvement throughout the second part of the season. i see a 2-2 draw

nedved is out so unless we are unlucky 2-1 milan

I think most of what I have said in those posts are unbiased, balanced, and true (except the 6th one). but they've always said, 'truth hurts'. I should have known to be more careful...

Are you ready to discuss each of the quotes to see where it's unbalanced and full of venom? you accuse them to be, you have to tell why.

I don't think a single one of those posts is either unbalance, unbiased, or necessarily true. I disagree with most of your viewpoint -- which is my right. It's your right to have whatever view you wish, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the only possible truth or that it's even correct. I happen to think you're dead wrong in a lot of what you say and I think there's also an overly negative and, yes, venomous and nasty bias. And it's my right to think that.

i didn't mean to start a war or anything

i'm just saying, it's one thing to criticize a team and it's another thing to say that this team will no longer be any good.

things will get better (they have gotten better)

Didn't thoroughly read through the match thread, but aside from the team not performing to their best yesterday. Anyone else feels that we were wrongly done by the ref? (...On numerous occasions?) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I did not see that but it could not have been it, he must have said or done something nasty.

Apart from the awful decision to show red to Favalli (a decision I still cannot understand) and showing yellow to God ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) I think the officiating was alright.

Yeah, you're second in the championship with CL qualification guaranteed and the most promising talent in the world on the books. Horrible.
Look, I understand the dissapointment, but is the nihilistic veil of tears really a reasonable reaction? I think not.

Only a couple of weeks ago we weren't even assured CL football, it is only due to the collapse of Juve that we have been able to get second place. I'll agree that we have done well in our previous seven games, but our form before Christmas wasn't all that inspiring.

On another note, are you happy with Arsenal's form? Do you just accept that without complaining?
