I remember The Times (or The Independent) running an article on this. Check out their football section

Did you read about their stupid mistake? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Masal Bugduv... it just shows how journalists and substantiation have gone separate ways...

Giorgi Chanturia from Georgia

15 Years Old

Currently in FC Barcelona Youth Team

Has outstanding pace and technique, as well as scoring skills

In his first two matches he scored 3 goals and made 1 assist

I know him really well(we were in same summer Camp in Georgia, even played football with him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )
and he is a real talent

Laporta himself offered him contract after seeing his matches

These days, there really is hard to make a clear judgment. At one point, all of them seem to you as sure talent and future star, and if they somehow get into the hype journalists usually create (sometimes out of nothing)...they most likely break. Some will say it's only one more tool to sharpen the selection that ultimatively would be there even without the media pressure. But than again, all is not finished with the media hype also - sometimes it's just the beggining of a story that then involves managers, big price tags, club presidents and chairmans and all the other things that make you "sick" before you even get a real evaluation of the "merchandise"..

He also scored for Georgian National Team in 2-0 win over Scotland
