Clean sheet doesn't really matter in these kinds of games...

Yeah, but it's still a nice thing to have after a game finishes, especially after the last couple of seasons where we have been letting goals in in almost every game

Damn, judging on live commentaries it looks like Pato had a couple of chances in those 20 minutes. wish he could score. it's been a while (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That's right. but I still think the players don't really take these games seriously. that's why I'd rather we try for a clean sheet when it really matters ie the league games.

It did not look like he cared too much... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) The kid should put more effort into his game no matter how much time he's given or against which team it is!

Point taken.

Well we got what we wanted, which is a win without putting in too much of an effort. Next stop Atalanta, hopefully we'll get all 3 points there, if we do we'll probably be second or third come Monday morning. I have a feeling that the early high flyers like Lazio, Udine and Napoli will start to drop off as the weeks wear on, and with Roma and Juve lagging behind so much this is our chance to get second place, a spot we haven't occupied in the league since 05/06

Regarding the Pato statements above...Pato needs to work on his finishing and one-on-ones in particular.

Good Result Overall for us. We could have certainly had a better game performance-wise.
(I am judging based on what I saw b4 my stream began to break up, so it was a bit more difficult to distinguish what was actually happening afterwards)
