QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Aug 25 2008, 01:04 PM) You mean Dinho when he first landed in Milan or Dinho that's come back from Beijing? Anyway, good to see he's welcomed by some fans. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Coming back from Beijing. Sheva and Dinho almast arrived at the same time, so there was a big crowd at the airport

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Aug 25 2008, 03:26 PM) I think all the fans would welcome him, provided he behaves like a person who's genuinely embarassed and sorry. If he comes in a expects to be king again, he'll be in for s rude shock. To start with, he can wear #76 and score some goals. Then we'll move onto phase 2...kissing the badge.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) So you propose we give him a badge-less dress? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE Shevchenko gets medical examination at AC Milan
ROME (AP) _ Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko underwent a medical examination Monday at the training camp of AC Milan which has agreed to re-sign him from Chelsea if he passes the tests.
"I am very happy to be here," Shevchenko was quoted as saying on Milan's Web site. "I also want to send a greeting to Chelsea fans who, in the last two years, always made me feel their support. Thanks, really, for this."
Shevchenko agreed to terms on Saturday to return to the Italian club after failing to live up to expectations during two injury-plagued seasons in England.
He scored 73 goals in 296 games during seven seasons with Milan, but scored just nine times in 47 appearances for Chelsea after an English Premier League record transfer of 31 million pounds (then US$62 million; €45.5 million) in the 2006 offseason.
The 31-year-old player arrived at Milan's Linate airport Sunday night.
Neither club has disclosed financial terms, but Milan officials have indicated that Shevchenko will accept a salary cut to return to the Italian club, which is owned by Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi.

So this is how far the mighty Oddo has fallen. Damn...I liked him a lot. It's a good feeling to know you have Italy's first and second choice Rb on your team.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

QUOTE Andriy Shevchenko has identified winning over the fans as the most difficult task awaiting the forward on his return to AC Milan.
The 31-year-old arrived back in his adopted homeland at the weekend and although admitting that claiming a starting place ahead of the Rossoneri's eight other attacking players would not be easy, it was satisfying the disillusioned supporters that posed the biggest challenge.
He said: "It's important that the team wins. If all the players get on well together, then we'll have some fun.
"[Carlo] Ancelotti will have many options, he will be able to change tactics even during a match, which is important in order to be successful and I have no doubts that he knows how to move in these situations ."
However, the Ukrainian striker added: "The most difficult challenge now is to win over the people who were disappointed when I left. Now I'm back I'll try my hardest, it's all I know how to do."
The arrival of the former Chelsea player has made for tense competition for one of the three attacking places in Carlo Ancelotti's favored Christmas Tree set-up, which could see Clarence Seedorf team up with Ronaldinho behind Filippo Inzaghi in the season's opener at the San Siro against newly-promoted Bologna on Sunday, with Sheva given time to resettle in.
Meanwhile, the lack of opportunity to secure playing time at the Milan giants may see Alberto Paloschi loaned out for a year with Torino Genoa and city rivals Sampdoria interested in taking on 19-year-old forward.

I'm probably going to be pilloried for admitting this publicly, but to be perfectly honest I wasn't a particular fan of the guy's during his first spell at Milan.
Yes, I know he's scored lots and lots of goals and I know he's Silvio's pet, but...sorry, never been a particular fan.
(Caveat: Not a big groupie of strikers anyway. After MVB left....meh. I've always been more of a groupie of the defenders).

Honestly, blue? Yep. I'm glad he is a good player and scores lots and lots of goals but I'm not even close to being a groupie. Don't hate him by any means (though I think he sometimes talks more than he perhaps should), but not a particular fan, no.
