When I am an onlooker, yeah I would agree with you .. An arrogant slogan like that is something a 5 yr old could conjure up ... But when you see that this legacy has been built by a president who wants Milan to be known world-wide, by all and to be the #1 ... You can see the moral behind such a slogan, it is just an affirmation that Berlusconi had delivered his promise.
For us fans, we want to purchase tickets and TV subscriptions to watch Milan, we want to watch that team that was notorious in winning .. And the fact that Milan hasn't been reaching its capabilities "as a club", makes us feel cold when reading that slogan and in a way undervalue it cuz it does not represent the current team that we have now.
