20 years ago today, 96 Liverpool fans died at Hillsborough. RIP. EDIT: Four days after Hillsborough, Milan played a European Cup semi against Real Madrid -- the famous 5-0 drubbing. That game remains one of my favorite Milan games of all time not just for the magnificent play but also for what the curva did partway through the match when the referee called for a minute of silence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZrVfMRyoE0

While on the subject of Hillsborough, the Idiot of the Week Award goes to Liverpool third-string GK Charles Itandje. QUOTE (Times Online) Charles Itandje conduct sparks Liverpool outrage
Far from troubled by the latest barbs from Sir Alex Ferguson, Rafael Benítez, the Liverpool manager, spent yesterday dealing with two more pressing matters. The first was a troubling bulletin over Steven Gerrard’s groin injury, which might rule the captain out of the club’s next two matches, the second was a probe into the unedifying behaviour of Charles Itandje, the reserve goalkeeper, during this week’s service to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy.
Itandje, a former France Under-21 international, already appeared certain to leave Liverpool this summer without a single Premier League appearance to his name, but the club were investigating last night whether they may have grounds to terminate his contract after television footage showed him smirking and joking during the memorial service at Anfield on Wednesday.
Benítez and other Liverpool officials were appalled after reviewing footage that appears to show Itandje swaying and trying to make Damien Plessis, the midfield player, laugh during a sombre rendition of Tragedy, a song that was written in honour of the 96 Liverpool supporters who died at the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough on April 15, 1989. Plessis, for his part, looks appalled by his team-mate’s behaviour and refuses to react.
The player’s behaviour has been heavily criticised on Liverpool websites over the past 48 hours and the club have also received a number of official complaints. Richie Pedder, chairman of the official supporters’ club, said: “I don’t think he realised the importance of the occasion. That sort of behaviour was not appropriate. I don’t think he will still be at the club come the summer.”
The Liverpool hierarchy, along with Benítez, have been assessing their options over the past 24 hours, even discussing the ultimate sanction of terminating his contract. For legal reasons, that would appear unlikely at this point, with the likelihood that he will be fined at least one week’s wages, which may be paid to the Hillsborough Family Support Group or the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, and given a written warning about his future conduct.
It is not, however, the first time that Itandje has fallen foul of a strict disciplinary regime at Anfield. He has been fined for arriving late at training on numerous occasions, which was a regular source of amusement in players’ interviews in the club’s match-day programme until things went a little too far, and has also been accused of being a bad influence on Plessis, his French team-mate. Benítez was desperate to sell him last summer, but the goalkeeper rejected a transfer to Galatasaray. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle6116054.ece

Berbatov's penalty, if only I could take them like that!
Still, United denied a pretty stone-wall penalty, and people still believe it's United that get all the decisions and not Liverpool!
Chelsea will cruise it as they will actually play a first-team.
