Ouch. That is bad, Ash. For what it's worth, the Serie B game that got called yesterday due to icy pitch is definitely postponed today. The other B games are due to start in about 45 mins and I'm keeping an eye out to see which ones are played and which are called.

Ah the 'big freeze' is Worldwide, or at least European or is it affecting in the States too?!

I mean our country simply stops with a little bit of snow/ice!

It is frustrating but you can see the reason, for potential injuries anyway as insurance claims for players could be pretty useless on some of the pitches!

Just surely this will be a wake-up call to the English FA to give the lower leagues a winter break. I think the Prem can cope because of the stadiums being to a high standard - in the main, I think it should be a requirement for all teams to have under-soil heating at the top league though.

I mean there's always chances of Waterlogging and Floodlight Failure etc but frost shouldn't be one!

This is definitely a chilly winter. The Pacific Northwest (Washington state and Oregon) are getting hammered by yet another bad snowstorm - these are places that stop for a snowflake as I can attest to (all sorts of travel issues getting to/from my sister's in Oregon at Christmas). There's snow/ice in the Northeast this weekend too and it's been really bloody cold here. Pointy-ball football games aren't ever cancelled for bad weather here, though. I mean..there are teams like Green Bay where it's REALLY cold and snowy in winter and they just go on and play in the snow.

Great to win a derby game as usual! Not seen the highlights been I am 100% convinced they should have had a penalty at the end, Ashley Young seemed to just throw himself at their player in the box, not sure what he was thinking!

I heard on the radio that they took Gabbys goal away and give it as a Scott Carson OG. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Though it i quite enjoyable. We win 2-, 1 of our goals is scored by an ex-West Brom player, the other an OG by an ex-Villa in a derby game! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

3rd place in the league, keep it up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Hopefully this is the last I hear of that 'Villa are lucky' ********. Bendtner has just scored for Arsenal with 4 minutes remaining, yet another late win for them. No doubt there's is a hrd ground out victory and ours is fluke though.

Well Van Persie hit the post earlier in the 2nd half and we were clearly the better team. Bolton had maybe 3 chances in the entire game.

So?

Villa were 'lucky' to beat Hull, depite them having 0 shots on target, apparently we were 'lucky' to beat Everton, despite that fact that we conceeded a last minute goal. We were 'lucky' to beat West Ham, depite hitting the post twice and our keeper putting on a World class performance.

Yet Arsenal win 2 games very late on, get battered at VP yet steal a point.. and we're the lucky ones? Madness it is.

Anyways, Stoke 0-0 Liverpool. Rafa's outburst has made him look very silly now. Victim FC are starting to bottle it.

I never said, or even implied, that you said that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I made a post, aimed at the annoying bias of our media towards a certain 3 clubs in this country, and you replied to it. It was not even aimed at you.

Anyways. Ashley Youngs Player of the Month award for December means that he's the first playe rin league history to receive the award 3 times in a year. Well done, Ash! MON for Manage rof the Year, what he's acheived is nothing short of a miracle.

Better make that 999,999,999 as I'm not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'll catch the highlights if the result is favorable! Favorable as in Chelsea winning. Otherwise no bothering me.
