Because he's coach of West Ham and got a draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge?

D'oh! I'd forgotten about that. I'd assumed it was something Chelsea-related from the past week.

The sooner Scolari gets the sack, the better. He is the worst Chelsea manager since.. Vialli!

He can't break teams down at home. I think he's won 4 of 9 at home, that's terrible for a team that should be winning at least 7/8.

Well for a team that's got the highest goal difference (+29), the most goals scored (36), the least conceded (7) was the best team in the league for quite a while, and is in 2nd place at the moment, he's got to be doing something right. Sure, his home record is appalling, but I won't mind that one bit if Chelsea win the league title this season.

As much as I'd like to see Arsenal or even Villa win it, I know for a fact that it's a long shot. Chelsea is my only hope for any of Liverpool and Manchester United not winning it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif) And that's the reason the last few weeks have been pretty bad for me. I'm not a Chelsea fan, but there are some things I don't want. And those are: 1) Liverpool winning the league. 2) Man U winning it yet again. Plus the reason that I like Big Phil has got nothing to do with it, I promise.

Why do you thin Vialli was bad? Okay, he wasn't good either, but that Barca-Chelsea clash...gee, one of the best CL thrillers I ever watched (in that format)! Remember Ferrer score?

Anyway, in England I support mostly the smaller teams, Blackburn, Everton, Nottingham,...and Villa, after I met you Kurt. Even if Villa had two of my alltime hated footballers - Bosko Balaban and Paul Merson.

He is great on the road, 8 wins in 8 I think, but to only win 3 at home is so bad. Actually, to put this into perspective, Villa have 4 wins, 4 draws and 1 defeat at home.. this is unacceptable. Yet we have picked up 3 more points at home than Chelsea, and you'd have to imagine their standards are set even higher!

In saying that, I think Chelsea have the best chance. Drogba has barely even played in the league this season, so hopefully with him back the home form will improve. If I had the choice of United or Liverpool.. United all the way.

Vialli never did too well in the league with them. I'm not saying he was bad, I just think Scolari is the worst since him. I don't really count Grant, he was never really full time manager anyways. Ranieri did a superb job with the squad, then Jose took them to the next level. So it's not such a terrible thing, but it's not exactly singing his praises either.

There are very few teams in the EPL that I like. Everton are my 2nd favourite by a distance, then I can only really think of Fulham and Chelsea that I even remotely like at the moment. Middlesbrough are okay, but that's only because of their manager.

You hate Paul Merson? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) The guy is loved at the Villa, he was a genius with the ball, I loved him! As for Balaban.. I think he, along with Alpay, is probably the most hated player ever to play for Villa, by Villa fans. He was so bab, especially for £6m which was alot of money to us back then. Even Schmeichel scored more goals for us than him, and Schmeichel was only a Villa player for 1 season, a very embarassing statistic for a striker.

Heck, I say let Scolari stay for the entire season and beyond. I'd like to see Chelsea revert back to their good old days of mediocrity before Abramovich started buying them EPL titles.

On an off-topic note, I'm watching ESPN right now and UConn's basketball jerseys look horrible.

I think everyone buys titles to be honest, it's al relative.

United may not have spent much in comparison to nowadays during the 90s, but they just bought the best players, off their rivals to. Cantona from Leeds when they were challenging with United, Andy Cole from Newcastle. Arsenal and Chelsea both spent alot of money on their titles too.

It happens everywhere. Juve, Milan, Inter always spend big. Even Lazio bought a league title a few years back. Madrid and Barcelona in Spain. There are very few teams who haven't "bought" titles in the last few decades.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) @ Paul Ince. He was so crap.
