Good lord, is this the patriotic Kurt speaking? Hmh,..I must agree with you, but only on the bottom level. It should be the greatest thing, to play for your NT. But, other then that, I don't agree on Janku, Maldini or Nesta. Nesta did quit the NT cause he made everything he could imagine - silver in 2000, gold in 2006, and he has a constant injury problem that becomes concerning. To heal his injury he needs rest, but by playing the NT games, he only gets more injuries and eventually becomes a worse player. Nowdays, Nesta is still Italy's No.1 defender when fit. As for Jankulovski. He's very injury prone and I fear he'll end his playing career anyway soon.. |
