Why are we comparing Bojan and Paloschi anyway? They're different sorts of players.

They are, but you can still compare their footballing ability. At least I think you can. Paloschi will be a good player, no doubt. But the position he plays is so.. 'untalented' in a way. He may be very good at what he does one day, like Pippo, but that doesn't mean he'll have much ability as a footballer. That's all I'm trying to say anyways.

In an old issue of Forza Milan magazine, there's a nice piece on Paloschi. Fillipo Galli (I think; one of the primavera coaches) commented that of the kids he's coached, Di Gennaro is much more of a natural talent. But Paloschi works very hard and is constantly trying to improve. I think the Paloschi-Pippo comparison is a good one. I love Pippo to death, but he's not a player gifted with loads of natural talent. His positioning sense, however, is second to none.

For a box striker ... You don't necessarily need to be like CR or Ronaldinho. All you need is the brains, the positioning and a lethal shot. If Paloschi can develop in those areas, I think he will have gotten his football abilities to 'his' maximum. And this is Milan after all, he will always be guaranteed champions backing him up and feeding him balls.

True .. I think you can take Inzaghi second goal against Reina and teach it to all strikers, the positioning, the coolness in his blood, the way he thought one step ahead on Reina and tucked it right under him ...

Yes it's the placement that he needs to work on...not simply blast it goalwards.....that's why I wanted him to see Ronaldo in action because although Ronaldo's not a by any means a classical poacher......he fills the role with total ease......imagine our new "fox in the box" with Pippo's positioning and Ronaldo's finishing He'd be a monster......he might never be able to take on 5+ defenders like Ronaldo did ......or position himself as well as Inzaghi....but he would be his own player....completely dangerous in his own role (IMG:style_emoticons/default/96.gif) Because for all the positional sense Inzaghi has, if he was a tad more skilled he would have set records with the amount of goals scored.....actually we were hoping that something like that would have happened with Gila... but that's another story (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

So Paloschi is going on co-ownership loan to Parma.
