Yep, not disagreeing with that last, Fillipo.
I've now re-watched the game and think that one of the Spanish players not talked about much who I think did rather well was Busquets. He was victim of quite a few fouls of an unkind nature - and gave out a few himself, but he didn't get rattled and got on with his job. I remember one bad pass and Robben getting past him once -- but nothing that caused lasting damage. Pretty remarkable given that he's just 21. This fish thinks he's more than made up for the negative cookies earned when he did his dive-and-look-to-see-if-the-ref-is-watching thing in the CL against inert. |

Agreed. Schweinsteiger on the other hand was brilliant. Same for Friedrich who was the IMO the biggest positive surprise of this tournament (from my point of view).
