So... he'll be a Milan player next season... I hope he's not being considered as Maldini's replacement!

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Feb 19 2008, 08:09 AM)
Oohh, Germany is way past Lehmann. Look, IMO Germany has in this moment the worlds best keepers around. Except of Oli Kahn and Jens Lehmann who I rate high, there are established keepers like Enke, Rost, Hildebrandt and Weidenfeller (injuried right now) and youngsters like Adler, Rensing and Neuer. How can anyone compete? Italy? Only Buffon and maybe Amelia. Curci does not play that much,..

As for Adler, he's in superb form now, he's great potential. But no internatianl experience. So, ther could be problems, like the ones Neuer had this season. He's young - which means a big plus for Leverkusen and a big minus for Milan. We don't need a young one.

does that really matter? in the end you can only play one.

I'm not finding it easily now, but Karim Benzema was quoted in goal.com (can't recall if it was english or italian version) as saying that if he left France at the end of the season - as many expect - he'd prefer to go to Spain or Italy. Either that day or the day before/after, he was also quoted as praising Ronie.

Zio Fester, can we have a Benzema for Christmas? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

He also said he won't leave unless he wins the CL with Lyon ... which isn't going to happen (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Silly season is starting early.

On his way into the Lega Calcio meeting, Galliani said the following:

"Poiché non c'é Ronaldo - spiega - credo che ci occorra una quarta punta, oltre ai confermatissimi Pato, Inzaghi e Gilardino". "Benzema, Drogba, Adebayor o Shevnchenko? Vanno bene tutti e quattro."

["Because we won't have Ronaldo, I think we'll pick up another striker in addition to Pato, Inzaghi, and Gilardino. Benzema, Drogba, Adebayor or Shevchenko? We'd be happy with all of them."]

Sheva back??

Why can't we just make a clean break with the past. God is leaving...the golden era is over. Start a new one.

goal.com is running a story saying we want Adebayor!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Why in the world for?? I like him at Arsenal. We must not imbalance the Force.

Controcampo is quoting the same bit from Galliani today too. They're tipping Drogba as the most probable from the list and say that Sheva may not be as welcome in Milan as the recent snippet on acmilan.com would seem to indicate.

Personally, from that list I'd take Benzema.

Relax! Galliani said "we'd be happy with all of them" which translates to "they are all very good players that we would like in Milan but they cost a lot... bla bla... taxes... bla bla... We're looking at some alternatives (aka free players)"... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I don't want Ade in Milan. He fits perfectly well at Arsenal and I think he would be a flop in Milan.

Basically what Galliani meant was: "We'd stick with Paloschi."

Anyway, Benzema is the best from those 4 for a club like Milan that have to look for his future. But I think he'll go to Spain.

From the Summer 2007 list until now... I'd take:

-Eto'o (Though he should keep his mouth shut)
-Benzema
-Mutu
-Drogba (Though he should keep his mouth shut)

In no particular order.
I'm surprised we're not linked to Mutu. He's 29, he's a SS, he's an ex-Inter player...

Anyway, this is just b/s -as usual- to get some season tickets next Summer. In 2 months he'll start again the Ronaldinho-novel.

(Amauri is OK but not the level was the 4 above)

nahh amauri sucks...in my opinion he's not for the "big clubs"...and he doesn't have an amazing season to be so much valued...we have gila on his place, we need players of eto'o, benzema caliber, that can play alongside gila (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
