thats what they said last summer, even promised us a world class player.

many players dont want milan, they'd rather teams like man u, cheslea, liverpool, real, barca,inter that are willing to spend more ambitious.

one of the only decent players we went after last summer (baptista) rejected a move to milan for that exact reason.

yeh they want premier league, cause there's double more money, so is in primera !! and no smart player would reject going to Milan...so think about baptista (i'm sure he didn't want to sign for milan, cause he was fed up of changing clubs every season, and maybe even thought he could play more under schuster)

for whichever player we would get agree from the club for signing, i'm sure that 99% of them wouldnt reject milan !!

and btw i don't see baptista as decent players we should pay 10mio€ for...

Inter did us a favour is taking Suazo, he's not good enough for us. I was disappointed when we 'signed him'.

Alot on who we signs will depend on whether we finish 4th or 5th. But either way I'm sure the board will have an excuse. But one thing I bank on is this, they'll use Pato AGAIN. Juve, Milan & Roma After Zapata

Juventus, Milan and Roma, as well as Premiership-outfit Arsenal, are all interested in signing Udinese star Cristian Zapata, the player’s agent has revealed.

Colombian centre back Zapata has been a rock at the back for Udinese this campaign, and has made 21 Serie A appearances, helping the club into sixth place in the table.    

“It’s natural that a player with Zapata’s characteristics is appealing - it would be worrying if there weren’t any approaches,” Daniel Vidal told Udineseblog.it.

“Therefore it’s not a mystery that clubs like Milan, Juventus and even Roma have shown an interest. The new name perhaps is Arsenal, but English clubs usually look around a lot.”  

Vidal went on to say that his client was very happy with life at Udinese, but pointed out that although he wanted to stay, given his pedigree it is difficult to say what lies around the corner.

“He has never thought about leaving Udine where he loves life,” Vidal continued.  

“The city and the club are perfectly on his wavelength. “I think that Udinese would also be very happy to have him stay and there have been no concrete talks.

“But it’s hard to say what will happen in March, especially with a player who was listed in The Times’ 50 most wanted in the world.”

Could be interesting. Zapata allready outgrowed Udinese. He's ready for the next step. And IMO he's a good defender, Milan should be interested.

That's a good point, forgot about him. So that's 2 new strikers. And with Ronaldo possibly coming back in Jan, there's our winter transfer window signing.

i know this is rather weak of me..but believe it but after just looking at kurtsimonw's sig long enough..i all of sudden am on the mourinho to milan boat! you guys should try it, maybe it'll work on you like it did me..but to those who argue jose to milan would mean we would play ugly football, with the players on the roster that we have, do you really think we would play ugly?

my theory is that the reason chelsea plays so ugly is because all their players are big, physical, and most of the time their touches are on the heavy side, partly due to their physicality and also due to the fact they play in the EPL (Lampard, Drogba, Essien, Mikel, Ballack)..therefore anything chelsea does always looks so forced and choppy...this is also why Sheva never settled..the big physical, fast game they play never complemented shevas slower, patient game that's built on anticipation and change of pace...Theres no such thing as patience in EPL. But what Mourinho did was device a gameplan that incorporated the Chelsea personell's best attributes..and it worked.

with milan, our players play different, and i see no reason why mourinho wouldn't change his tactics to suit ours.

plus, looking at that guys face on our bench, for some puzzling reason, would give me confidence. his demeanor commands respect and exudes confidence.
