According to the link Tennie posted, it is a loan. And that's where the official contracts for all players in Serie A are deposited.

His contract entry in the lega calcio website shows clearly that it's a loan deal. It's probably with option to buy at the end of the year, or he'll stay on loan with us until his contract at Chelsea ends, sort of like Crespo |

Why so serious? Paloschi is better of playing Serie A as a first teamer, rather than playing Coppa Italia once a month for Milan.
