Both Sheva and Pato will wear the number 7. Confuse the ref. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He'll think there's just 11 players.

Latest reports in the press (mediaset, tuttomercatoweb, etc) indicate that there should be a meeting today in Montecarlo between Shevchenko and Chelsea people. Then tomorrow, the Milan folks will arrive and the deal will be finalized.

(for what it's worth, I've spoken with a friend who's a season ticket holder at the San Siro. Her comment re: Sheva's return? 'I'm disgusted'.)

Isn't #11 occupied?

No, no one took it after Gila left last season.

@ Tennie, no matter what the season ticket holders say, IF Sheva comes it will be because Silvio always wanted him back. There's no reason, football wise why Milan would want him back, Silvio started talking about bringing his 'son' back just a few months after he left so there is no surprise that Sheva might be coming back. Because what Silvio wants, Silvio gets.

Personally I am ready to accept him back if he does put on the shirt again, and he'll probably get booed a couple of times at the San Siro until he starts scoring goals. And the fans will probably never feel the way they did about him before he left but if he does start scoring goals they will start to accept him again.

Personally I do think that he will be useful to us. And he will score goals. Fact is Sheva should have never gone to the EPL, technical players like him suffer in that league, especially when they're not in their prime and can't rely on pace anymore. But Serie A is different, he knows the league like the back of his hand, and even though he has lost that yard of pace, he will know how to adapt his game to that.

I'm not sure if the 'traitor' label is entirely accurate but I think it's close. (The curva seems to think so too, for what it's worth. So too does Ancelotti, or he did when he did that Iene interview).

I didn't know it was proved! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Well, Trini, given the other possibilities, the only logical 'traditore' was Shevchenko. It just doens't work for anyone else.

Now I know why Tennie calls this 'The Silly Season'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) One thing today, the complete opposite thing tomorrow.
