Nice little story dude, I didn't know that.

I'm not too worried about his 'lazy' attitude - running will be Pato's job (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Berb holds the ball up incredibly well, can score from anywhere, and seems to have that Pippo-like quality of nearly always being in the right place at the right time.

He would be a great target man for our attack, and I think him and Pato would work very well together.

Berbatov would be an interesting choice. This isn't the first time he's been mentioned, either. That said, however, Corriere isn't always the most reliable of sources.

Thanx for the brief Bulgarian football history @IoRDanCHo!

I do remember Stoichkov and his talent. He was lucky to fit in a generation of great players like Balakov, Lechkov, Yordanov, Borimirov, Trifon Ivanov, etc.

Berbatov at Milan? I'd welcome that any time.

That's want i thnik too. In Barcelona and in the Bulgarian national team, he was suрrounded from great players. That's one of the reason why he was so good. And Gundi had no one and made such an impact on people all over the world!

Thanks IoR!!! Great stuff. I wish he had come to Milan but kudos to him for staying with his favorite club!

Berbatov? Well I like him but... he's the cheapest choice... we can get someone better if we pay some more...

Berbatov will not be cheap, they paid around £10m for him and he's now recognised as one of the better striker in European football. Getting him for less than £20m would be very hard to do.

Great player, but he has the makings to be a huge flop, he's just too lazy.

I did not say he'd be cheap, I said he'd be the cheapest choice... in my view, we'd pay less for him than we'd do for Drogba/Benzema/Villa.

£20m?? I think that's a rip-off.

I am now reading what here the press says, and his maneger says that Milan didn't make a bid. If they do, Berbatov and his father who is also his maneger will look trough the offer, because Milan is a great club.
But for now, nothing!

And like i said before and like kurtsimonw did, he is too lazy! We have too many lazy players for now, don't need another one.

Croatian press today reported that Simic+cash could work for Milan to get Berbatov from the Spurs. I dunno what to say except that Simic isn't the kind of defender suited for EPL matches. Also, it would be sad to have a Milan without a croatian player after 1993. Okay, if you don't count Vrbnjak and Kalac.

Haven't stated that one for a while.

The Berbatov rumors are showing up in the Italian press too, though I think the asking price is a tad high.

As for Croatians, there are any number that could be very good for Milan, if Simic should leave: Srna, MODRIC, Corluka, etc.

And in news that should cheer dst, there's a piece in the Italian media today saying that the Scousers may be putting in a bid for a certain Georgian defender. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

dst will die of friggin heart attack if that were to happen and the deal went through. A very mistake-prone defender leaving Milan for Liverpool.

I cant believe twice in two days two amazing forwards have publically said they want a new club....yesterday reports came up of david villa looking for a new club to win tropheys and today huntaleer says he wants to move to a big club. HOW PERFECT IS THIS FOR MILAN?!?!?!?! we need forwards heres two great options, milan should take both into consideration. they should sit down and decide who they would like more approach both players and if one says no theres still the possibility of signing the other....heck why not both...what an amazing rotation system with villa, huntaleer, pato....even gilas game would prolly improve playin alongside theses guys....to sum it up if milan landed either one of these guys, i would see it as a sign that God has finnaly answered my prayers (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Milan probably won't sign either of them. I'm expecting them to make a bid for Drogba. I don't like cynicism, but something Carletto said today could potentially lead to another bad transfer season. He said we will have 5 strikers for next season and Paloschi + another player who will get called back will be part of that. So:

Pato, Paloschi, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Oliveira or Boriello

Unless he is playing mind games, I wouldn't be content with this at all.
