QUOTE (Tennie @ Feb 8 2008, 02:54 PM) Interesting snippet in the (not always reliable) Italian gossip press. They're saying that Koeman has decided that David Villa is surplus to requirements at Valencia and that he can be bought in the summer for somewhere around 25 million. QUOTE (dst @ Feb 8 2008, 08:17 PM) He's one of the worst coaches I've ever seen. Though Villa out of Valencia wouldn't surprise me. Chelsea or Inter would certainly thank. A friend of mine from Spain (Atletico Madrid fan) told me David Villa would move to Inter next Summer to pair up with Ibrahimovic. I really hope it's just b/s. I'd love to have him in Milan, a shame it's only on FM/PES. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) It'll never happen.

What do people think of Lyon's Karim Benzema?
(With apologies to Misha, please let the gossip rags in England be wrong; I really don't want Milan to buy the Ukrainian who's struggling at Chelsea).

Oh so contrary to what I expected...I do have company over Cassano.
Kewwlll.. Daru...Live long and prosper my brother!!
Cassano is probably among the best SS in Italy right now. Yes, he's probably one of the few forwards who is a bigger cvnto than Zlatan...but I always thought his problems at Roma were because he was dealing with a bigger prima donna in Totti.
There's not much trouble in Sampdoria. And in Madrid, his problem wasn't with the players, it was with the coach, and he wasn't the only one there either.
And one thing I'm grateful for is there is no prima donna in Milan right now. Clarence is the worst we've got. If Paolo had been captain next season, I wouldn't give a thought to it. I know that Cassano would fall in line. But with Rino as captain, and with his more 'abrasive' approach things might be stickier.
However I still think Carlo is the best man manager in Serie A along with Prandelli. And we should be able to accomodate Fantantonio. I'd really have someone who has played and played well in Italy to come along. So we don't waste time in 'aclimitization'.
I know it's an unpopular opinion...so go easy on me.
However I doubt this will go on. Sampdoria are almost certainly buying him next season.

QUOTE (aLbErTo @ Feb 18 2008, 07:16 AM) Ricardo Oliveira, for the 100th time (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) SS as we need...we don't have to spend money on players like amauri,drogba...(as we dont need strikers of their type)...Oliveira is eager to make a bigger impact if he was recalled to milan...we must give him a chance...he scored 13 goals this year for Zaragoza already... youre right, he deserves a chance to play next season. I trust him more than Gilardino. Oli's sister was kidnapped who could blame him for not playing that good? We shouldve loaned out gila instead of oli
