If we were to buy one of those 3 players, Ronaldinho would be my last choice. I rate him very, very, lowly.

To me he looks much better than kaladze and oddo combined.

Bonera was, is and will be better than Kaladze on CB. I don't rate Kaladze's CB skills at all.

Still, neither Bonera, nor Kala (and Å imić) will be enough. We need a quality GK or a great CB. That's simple. One of the two positions must be covered to have a decent defense you can rely on.

-He cares too much about his image.
-Money is more important to him than success.
-He is not a hard worker.
-He doesn't seem to care about football anymore.
-He's too flashy - he'd rather waste time trying to do a trick to take the ball past someone rather than just make an easy pass elsewhere.
-He has been very poor this season whenever he played.
-Motivation problems are worse than Seedorfs in my opinion. If Seedorf can't be bothered to play against Livorno, Siena, Catania, etc. do you really think Ronaldinho will be bothered?

I don't rate him very highly. I hope he goes to Man City!

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Jun 2 2008, 08:47 PM)
If we got Ronaldinho AND Gomez, I'd call this transfer campaign a very successful one. Inter can buy whoever they want, but with this line up:

------------Kalac-----------------
Oddo Nesta Kaladze Zambrotta
------------ Pirlo------------------
------Gattuso---------------------
----------------Ronaldinho-------
---------Kaka---------------------
-------------------Pato------------
----------Gomez------------------
We'll kill them.

Too attacking? We have good defensive fullbacks.
*

10R won't play in that position. Not even in dreams. Plus the team is not balanced for modern football.

My Milan 09 (not Galliani's):

---------------- Frey ------------------
Oddo - Bonera - Nesta - Zambrotta
-----Gattuso---Pirlo---Seedorf-------
-----------------Kaka'-----------------
----------Eto'o---------Pato------------

Jankulovski could do the Seedorf/LB place with Zambrotta going to the other side for Oddo. Kaladze for CB sub.

Ambrosini/Flamini for any place in the DM (releasing/selling Brocchi and Emerson) + Seedorf and Pato can do the trequartista thing à la Kaka' too.

Borriello, Inzaghi and Paloschi as the italian trio as subs for the attackin' duo.

Frey with Daniel Offredi (the oldest keeper from Primavera) as backup with Dida, Fiori, Abbiati and Kalac feckin' off.

Well... off to reality. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

alot of what you said has to do with the barca athmosphere imo. Riijkaard played a huge role of his laziness and the media demanded that he did the flashy stuff or he didnt' play good. Think about it. The games ronaldinho scored the media would say he played average unless he deked the whole team out and scored. His expectations were thru the roof and it was near impossible to achieve them once again. At milan all we expect him to do is the basics and have an overall good mindset. I doubt anyone here expects him to snake and humiliate serie A defenders. We just want someone so we have cover for seedorf.

that formation would be very successful but it wont happen. Eto and pato are too similar. The only way we would play would be is if boriello played or one alone up front.

It's not that unreal... it's doable. We probably won't get Frey or any world class keeper, but a world class forward is coming for sure.

My formation could definitely work if you switched Pirlo with Flamini:

Oddo---Nesta--Kaladze---Zambrotta
--------Gattuso----Flamini-------------
---Kaka----------------Ronaldinho----
-------------Pato-----------------------
--------------------Gomez-------------

If you want to put Pirlo in there, You need to take out one of the 4 attackers.

Obviously I don't want Pirlo to be benched, but if he is having a season similar to the last 2, why not?

I don't think any coach in the world have the guts to bench Pirlo.

Gattuso is the one - if he's in the same form as last season - to drop.

I see the same thing happening to C.Ronaldo, people will expect him to score 40+ goals next season too. He will obviously not be the monster he has been this season and they will start to criticize him.

Then we'd have to also drop one of the four attackers. That first formation I posted was hypothetical. It was just to give an idea. With only one defensive midfielder and that many attacking players who don't know how to defend(including Pirlo) We would get killed in Serie A.
