QUOTE (Pirlo)
I think he could stay, it's better than some other place.

What does he mean by "some other place". Maybe I'm getting the wrong end of what he's trying to say, but is he calling a club Rino could move to "some other place". That can be seen as quite insulting!

Wow... Lloris seems to be a very good 'keeper... hadn't seen him before.

He looks like a certain English student by the way (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

ALICE a reliable and famous Italian site is reporting that Milan had signed him for 6M euros. It is rumored that he might be loaned out to get some Serie A experience though.

Lloris laid off for Nice and France

Written by: Soccerway
2008-05-05 08:03:20

France Under-21 goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will not play again until next season after breaking two bones in his right hand in OGC Nice's 0-0 draw at home against Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday.

The 21-year-old was replaced by former France international Lionel Letizi after being injured while saving at the feet of Lyon's Kim Källström. He is now doubtful for France's UEFA European Under-21 Champioship qualifiers against Malta and Bosnia-Herzegovina in September.

Looked very impressive in the youtube compilation. When he saves he tries to palm the ball as far away as possible. Few similarities to buffon in GK and looks like sheva. Well if we signed him that really is good news, loaning him would be ridiculous. I don't see the point of loaning a GK, like zd pointed out it leaves us in the same situation for the moment. Really hope this transfer goes through.

Seems there's a bit of disagreement among websites.

Alice says that Lloris " potrebbe esser girato in prestito per fargli fare un po' di esperienza nel massimo campionato italiano." [could be loaned out to get some experience in Serie A]

Mediaset says "Lloris approda al Milan per rimanerci e giocarsi le sue chances con Kalac. " [Lloris is going to Milan to stay and to compete with Kalac.]

SKY Sport is claiming that Milan are just brushing off a few details with Villareal, for the imminent sale of Ricardo Oliveira.

Several Italian websites (which speculate on the mercato) have pointed out that tonight at 6pm, there will be a meeting with Juventus for the transfer of Amauri. If the deal doesn't go through tonight, he will be a Milanista.

Palermo President Zamperini: "I doubt we will reach an agreement in the end, but if we do that would mean the end of negotiations.

Palermo coach: "I think he should go to Juventus, they are a big club and he will be able to play in the champions league. But in the end the decision rests with him and his agent."

Reports are hatching left and right as it seems ... Now Cafu is linked to Torino. The report states that he wants Milan above all other choices, but feels he can contribute more to football. And now that Torino are certain to remain in Serie A, he will most likely move to Turin. Seeing as Zambrotta's move to Milan is all but finalized.

Again, I hope he comes back as an ambassador or anything in the fold of Milan. A true champion (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

That's what I was thinking about. Dida's supposed to leave so we have to fill his empty place.

Lloris is coming to stay; we currently have 289334547 keepers on loan.

My prediction: Kalac starts the season as a starter.. then Lloris takes over after Kalac starts sucking.. then we struggle for 4th place (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

All being said, I'll be happy to see Lloris in a Milan jersey. yay for young player (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

^^

Not yet... Galliani won't discuss the market before the 19th. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
