I think it's more to do with Drogba, and others, leaving for the African Cup of Nations. This leaves only Sheva and Pizzaro as senior striker at the club, and I'm not sure Grant trusts either of them.

That and Sheva is injured so that leaves them only with Pizzaro. Either Anelka or Berbatov will arrive in this transfer window.

Drogba is full of sh!t. He has been talking about leaving for the last two years. Plus, Chelsea won't sell him for less than at least 30m pounds (The highest Milan payed for a player so far is £28m for Rui Costa).

It's about time that this fact changes...I was surprised to found out that we have been equalized and compared to Chelsea or Real. So, let's get into big business and don't care about spending.

If Drogba want's to leave, he'll leave. Chelsea has a certain history in scoring own goals threats

Yes, but nobody knows what Drogba really wants. He's talking too much and changes his opinion every 5 minutes.

30m pounds for a player who can play at max 3 more good seasons is too much.

with that amount we can take Benzema who can play for at least 10 seasons.

Benzema is raw, and would take longer settling in. Drogba is an established superstar, and would slot right in

Hopefully..

I'm sure Chelsea thought the same thing when they signed an established superstar for a similar price.

Chelsea (or should I say Abramovic .. ) was about to 'come' over the idea of having Sheva in his squad (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

At Milan, it's different. It's Drogba that would want to join, more than the other way around (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
