QUOTE
Kaka has surprisingly admitted that he could be forced to quit Italy if violent scenes persist in the nation’s stadiums.

The Brazilian ace has always insisted that he will remain at the San Siro for the foreseeable future and even suggested that he would be willing to extend his current contract.

However, the weekend’s events seem to have caused the Brasilia native to think twice about his future.

“Could I leave Italy? Yes, if these violent episodes continue,” the Ballon d’Or favourite told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I love football because it brings me happiness, but at the moment I can’t enjoy myself.

“If there are big problems in Italian football that prevent me doing my job properly, anything could happen.

“I am worried for my family’s safety as my wife and parents frequently come to watch me, so there is a chance I could move to another country.”

Kaka has repeatedly been linked with Real Madrid, but the Spanish champions officially retracted their interest in the 25-year-old a few weeks ago.

However, the Merengues may be tempted to reconsider their options if they sense that Kaka could be open to approaches.

I'm worried, not because Kaka could potentially leave, but for my beloved team that is Milan. Without super stars, Milan won't be the same and by the way things are going, I don't think super stars would want to join Serie A.

You shouldn't be worried Max. These things will be fixed .. and Kaka', Zlatan and all the stars of the Italian calcio wont leave for this reason. They might use it as a scapegoat. But this situation with Ultras violence wont last long, the government along with clubs are bound to do something to contain them.

Kaka is an interesting fellow when it comes to public quotes. Yesterday he said he was ready to renew his contract. It's a yo-yo kind of thing.

That said, he's got a point. If players are afraid to bring their families to stadiums, then yeah. They won't want to come to Italy.

Can't say I couldn't understand him if he leaves. But in the end it'll be like R7 said....won't happen. People forgot fast after Catania, and they'll forget the recent events in the near future as well.

But these events are becoming an ongoing thing now and each time it makes an even bigger impact. I can see easily how some players could become disillusioned if another incident was to follow.

Yep they did mix up his words ... He just spoke from the Brazilian NT camp .. He said that he is very happy in Milan and is seriously considering staying at this club for the rest of his career as he is keen on extending his contract with the club that helped him become the best. But he pointed out that IF these actions (referring to Atalanta) do happen again and again, then stars will leave Serie A and he would no longer feel secure about staying. And that is a BIG IF.
