I like gourcuff but we can't be scared of buying midfielders because it will limit his playing time. If he is good he will succeed one way or another.
Onkel fester made a mistake by buying Emerson, we didn't need him he should have bought Riquelme instead. |

Actually, LA climbed out of last place and got to within one point of qualifying for the post-season playoff (yes, MLS has post season playoffs) without Beckham playing any but part of the very last game. Credit should go to the squad players who probably make $40K/year rather than the 'stars' like Beckham or Landon Donovan.
