Well our defence was realy good if we consider that it was composed by two fathers and two sons (Cafu and Favalli around 36 years and Bruscagin and Darmian 17 years (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ). Kalac and Fiori very relaiable tonight.

Young guys played good and I think (hope) that in the future we could have in our defence Darmian, Bruscagin, Marzoratti (playing U-21 game for Italy if you are watching Rai) and Cosner (who can also play in midfield). As for defence - for next year we bought the most perspective young defender in Italy from Bologna - Michelangelo Albertazzi who is currently playing at european U-17 for Italy and he even scored in the first game, when Italy won against Czech Republic.

Hee. When you put it in those terms, Diavolo, then yeah. Remarkable that we didn't concede. Glad to hear that Kalac & Fiori were good too.

I have high hopes for Darmian. The omens are good for the kid - he's from the Milan province and he had his Serie A debut against Udinese. The last teenaged defender who had their debut against Udinese was God. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Agree with you Tennie, let's hope to see another (at least one) Milan youth product in the first team after GOD, who will become world class! Well to all girls and guys on the forum - good night.

I believe Darmian has a bright future ahead of him. If he keeps working hard, he will soon make it to the first team .. Hopefully, he will be given more chances in the coppa

Judging by the post mentioning only the defence,. I conclude that Willy, Yohann and the Duck didn't do anything extraordinary, right?

Apparently, Pato had a slight muscle pull and that's why he was taken off at the half.

Gazzetta's kudos for the game are for the two keepers. They were full of praise for Kalac and Fiori.

Again Firoi shines... He is a great keeper. And also good on Kalac to make some great saves. We need that right.
