It's a good day to be a German team in the UEFA Cup today.
Hamburg drew 0-0 to Zurich and go through based on the 3-1 result of the first leg. Leverkusen thumped Galatasaray 5-1. Bayern beat Aberdeen 5-1. Bremen are away to Braga, but I imagine Bremen will take that one. Nuremberg play Benfica at Luz a bit later on. But for this one, I'm hoping the scoreline's the other way around. (Forza Benfica!) |

Liedson is OK, but he's not having a good season in the Portuguese League, although he scored some in the European Cups. |

A fairly decent European week for the Egnlish teams. Liverpool, United and Chelsea are all in a fairly strong position to go through.
