I can't believe Babel is rated. That guy is a big joke. He is just above average, as is the rest of the Pool squad with the exception of 6 quality players, yet the Pool fans praise them all up and then keep complaining about how Benitez is responsible for them not contending for the Premier League...

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Anyway... they'll go through, Fener were very lucky to win this game, Chelsea were much better (judging from the extended hls).
*

I completly agree. Babel is totally over-rated, and they rely on the same players all the time to pull them through. THe likes of Reina, Carragher, Gerrard, Torres carry this team, if they don't play at their best - Liverpool don't win.

You don't think it's advantage Chelsea? I'd certainly ratehr be in Chelsea's position, going back home with an away goal. That's just me though I suppose. They should have won it anyways, Ballack missed about 345785774894358985 chances on his own.

The pictures do look scarily similar..

It would be really awesome if Fener go through. Even though I'm a Besiktas fan, I have many Turkish friends and this would be huge for them. Just like the 2002 World Cup when they finished 3rd. You guys should have been there, people were going nuts in Turkey...

Well all teams rely on certain players. Where would United be without CR and how good is Milan without Pirlo and Kaka!?? The thing is, apart from the players you mentioned above and a couple more the rest of the squad is completely overrated! United's bench can challenge Liverpool's first and they will never win the c'ship as long as they start from -6...

This is the pride of Merseyside!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) A full hour of "Total Anti-Footbal"l!!! 60 minutes with 10 men on their own half!! Not even from the Inter of 2003 would you see this ****... Well done to the Dutch Masters... Congrats Scousers! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Anyway... it's not over yet... unless the ref at Anfield is another Liverpudlian!

Oh... don't be a cnut. Anti-football my ar$e. Defending well is not anti-football... that's wasting time, etc etc etc. Liverpool didn't do that.

Greece was even worse on Euro 2004 and you were proud of them so don't cnut about.

And Babel is a talented player with loads of potential. Not all the players can do "a Torres" in the first season ffs.

I don't know what you call anti-football... to me, Liverpool's game tonight could be used as a promotional video for anti-football.

Yes Greece played like that. But Greece could not have played any other way and win... Liverpool is supposed to be a big team yet they played like a Greek team... I'm glad we agree on that! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Babel is crap. If he was not a Liverpool player no one would care about him.

Bendtner really is stupid.

You wanna have a go at anyone else? You sure you covered everyone? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

By the way, Milan did the same thing against Arsenal in the first leg. It's a startegy some teams use away from home. Even Man U was doing it last night but they had more firepower to put Roma under pressure when possible.

Liverpool got the result they wanted and it was not really a boring match so I can't say Liverpool played anti-football. They scored a very nice goal.

I don't see what the problem is with keeping every man behind the ball. One thing worse than that, is not being able to break a team down when they're giving you all the posession, so..

That's because you're a grade A cnuto and hate them to death after Istanbul. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

FFS dude. Like Max said above, Milan did the same in the Emirates.

100% agree
when you play in champions league away from your home, your supposed to play an antifootball style. Defend well and hope to get an away goal. Arsenal so far are the only team who are not doing this. fabreflop elliminated us out with his wondergoal but as you can now see why i call it a fluke because he didn't do it today.

I still tip liverfool for cl win. Barca manu will be exciting too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I hope messi is back to help eliminate the diver's overhyped team.

You can't say it's a fluke because he doesn't do it every game.

Where was Kaka's magic in the San Siro in the 2nd leg vs Arsenal? Where was Zidane's almighty performance in the World Cup Final?
Why didn't Liverpool come back in Athens like they did in Istanbul?

You can't expect people to do the same things all the time, otherwise football would be boring.

The fact that I'm an A grade c*** has nothing to do with Liverpool promoting 'Total Anti-Football'.

And like you said before we can't compare Milan with Liverpool this season.

We're not talking about a single away game here guys... Liverpool always play like that in Europe! It's how they won in '05, it's how they got to Athens last season. And of course it's how they're going to play at Anfield on Tuesday! Nothing to do with playing away from home...

Anyway... I've wasted too much time arguing about them. They're not worth it cause this is a football forum...

So you admire a team that's trying to play some football less than a team that's killing it... what can I say... bravo!

Ahh... boring... exactly what I had in mind. Football is so boring when Liverpool play!

What's wrong with being good defensively? Why bother buying defenders if you aren't going to use them. And last time I checked the team that defended and apparently did nothing scored as many goals as the team trying to play football. So if you're conceeded against a team that just defends, it's worrying. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Like I said I'm not going to argue about their **** type of play any more... all I'm waiting for is a Liverpool vs United final... that'd be an easy night for CR and co... and I'll be enjoying every single moment of it!
