20 minutes left in the Old Firm derby, Celtic 3-2 Rangers. Yet another classic!

Whittaker sent off for a 2nd yellow, he just took out Nakamura through frustration.

FT Celtic 3-2 Rangers.

Isn't this the second time in a rather short period that Celtic have beaten Rangers?

It's "statu quo" in the top of the french league, Lyon drew but so did Bordeaux (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) still -4pts between them. Marseille went 3rd again after beating Monaco in an intense game 3-2 (Cissé scored the winner (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

In the French ligue 1, Lyon drew on saturday and Nancy won, but the "match clou" between Mareille (3rd) and Bordeaux (2nd) it was a very pleasant game in which Bordeaux snatched the 3 points in the last minutes after being behind for more than half an hour. So Marseille dropped to the 4th place again (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) and Bordeaux are 2 point from Lyon (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
By the way their rivals Paris SG are still 17th and could be demoted, so maybe that could make their night (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

P.S. Bordeaux's equaliser was from a wonderful FK from Wendel, he scored one against Lyon, Paris and now Marseille (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I don't think they've lost at home all season. Well done to the boys from Madeira!

Paris SG who are in the 17th position in the league (2 games to go) reached the final of the French cup (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) They seem to do very well in the cup competitions as they've already won the league cup. Next year they could be in the second divisions and play the uefa cup, football is cool isn't it? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What's HAPPENED to PSG, Morgoth? I don't follow the French league at all closely, but I'd always thought PSG were generally a pretty good club.

Well, the worst thing that happened to PSG is the fact that Canal+ left from the board (they were the major stockholder). So there was no money, therefore they couldn't buy the same players they used to have (Rai, R10, Heinze, Simone Weah ...etc). But it not the only thing, some players don't give a sh!t about the team, there's no the same discipline in the squad, their fans are a huge trouble makers (they were our rival on the "we can't win at home" issue) so they had some kind of a complex playing in the front of them. Their last two seasons (including this one) were catastrophic, last year they were fighting for relegation too, their new coach (Le Guen, a former player) wanted to make a revolution and gave so many times their chance to the youth players (he even once gave one of them the captain armband!) and obviously some of the vets didn't like it, he put Pauleta (their best player) aside and said that he doesn't count on him anymore in the middle of the season (now he's back as a captain and starter, after scoring some very important goal after coming from the bench). So it's a lots of things, I don't think it's one or two issues with that circus of club, in the cups competitions however they manage to have good results, maybe less pressure on them, don't know.
