QUOTE (Porty @ Nov 12 2007, 01:07 AM)
This guy is playing very but very very good lately.

With 23 yo, he's definately showing some class in Madrid (and in the NT). Just like he did in Santos.
*

He is a world class player .. He is great for La Liga, but in Serie A he'll get crippled, his body is just too weak. I mean the knock that Kaka' had today, if Robinho was in his place he'd most likely be out for 2 weeks (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

The second Real goal was an obvious offside (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I've seen more calls go Barca's way than Real. But I do remember a certain Madrid derby last season which was going Real's way in a rather shocking manner..

We get pretty much every game Madrid and Barca play live over here and it's clear to see both of the teams (Madrid and Barca) get very good calls from the ref. I think it's even clearer than Barca's calls are more outrageous (Like Messi's blatent handball last season, from which he scored!).

QUOTE
David Villa's agent has hinted that Tottenham are considering a move for the Valencia striker.

The Spanish international is regarded as one of the best forwards in Europe and has constantly been linked with a move away from Valencia.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos is believed to be drawing up a list of targets for January as he looks to reshape his squad at White Hart Lane and he could be in the market for Villa.

Villa's agent Jose Luis Tamargo claims a number of English clubs are tracking the former Real Zaragoza ace and that Valencia would consider any offer from Tottenham

Contacted

"Many clubs have contacted me to ask about the chances of a player who is guaranteed to score goals in England," Tamargo is quoted as saying in the News of the World.

"But I am convinced if Spurs present an offer Valencia will study the subject."

Valencia are likely to resist any move to prise Villa away from La Mestalla, with the 25-year-old the club's prized-asset.

Sky Sports

Last time I checked, Villa was a top striker and Spurs already had too many. Maybe Ramos is looking to probably get rid of two (Defoe and Berbatov I'd have thought) and bring in Villa, the Spanish connection would help, but if Villa goes anywhere it won't be to a team that probably won't be playing European football next season.

Chelsea, merda, Madrid, etc they wont let him go to Spurs ... It ain't disney land .. He'll end up at one of the top clubs (just think where the merda rank in that assumption (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

It would be a shame for David Villa to play in a club like Tottenham. All the respect but they're not even a CL club and he's a world-class foward like Drogba, Torres, Rooney, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic...

I agree. Inter (always looking for fowards and their #7 will be out next season), Madrid (some rumours) and Chelsea (old rumours) won't let him go to Spurs. At least I hope so.

^^^ What they said. If Villa goes somewhere he should only go to a top club. He's really quite good.

Real Madrid couldn't win vs Murcia (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . Barca won 3:0 (Bojan scored) and the gap is only one point. In some time, Madrid are gonna be really sorry about firing Capello (just like in Del Bosque case).

When United fails it's a good day, if also Madrid fails it's a great day. Inter could have turned it to an perfect day (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
