QUOTE
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Milan have been put on alert after Daniel Alves's agent confirmed that the player could be set to leave Sevilla this summer.

The four European giants are all fans of the Brazilian star and will be monitoring the situation after Jose Rodriguez Baster 'Rodri' stated that now is the perfect time for him to step up a level.

Alves has attracted interest from across Europe with his dynamic displays for Sevilla and Rodri believes that the club should cash in now.

"This type of player always ends up moving because that is the way the market dictates it," the agent told Punto Radio.

"One has to be realistic and recognise that the best players always end up playing for the biggest clubs.

"I am not saying that Sevilla are not a big club, but they are a level behind some on both a sporting and an economic front.

"It is the right time to sell Daniel and besides, (club president, Jose Maria) Del Nido has already said that nobody is indispensable at the club.

"Daniel is happy and the president did everything when it came to renewing his contract the last time."

The 24-year-old, who is renowened for his attacking flourishes, joined Sevilla in 2002 from Bahia and won his first cap for Brazil last year.

It may just be more transfer market silliness, but....

[Milan, Madrid, Barca, and Liverpool are keeping an eye on Daniel Alves. Alves' agent was interviewed and said that this was the right moment for Sevilla to sell him and that the Sevilla president has said that nobody was unsellable.]

Milan-Alves, l'agente 'Giocatori così finiscono sempre ai grandi club...
Gio 31 Mag, 8:00 PM

We've already talked about him in the EPL thread this morning. I think he's going Liverpool.

We've Oddo. RB for our next 3 years at least.

If the mystery man was Alves and Milan signed him I'd move to Milano the same day!!

But I doubt it.

I don't think Milan are really interested in him. They will only spend a lot on one player whoever that might be... at least that's what it looks like.

You could have just put it in the Dani Alves thread. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

He's great but it'd be better if we signed a great LB... not that there are many out there but...

Janku is not so good defense-wise. I think we should get Gallas. 3-in-1!! And of course Zambrotta ALSO if we get the chance!

Gallas?

He has no idea about what he's doing on the field. He asked for Arsenals number 10 shirt because he wanted to be a support striker for them. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

What a loser, he's contributed to their worst season in almost a decade.

We don't need a left back, Janku is fine, Favalli is a decnt enough backup.

Name one thing associated with Arsenal that you actually like! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That's a tough one.. Tomas Rosicky? I like him. My other favourite things to link to them would have to be 'Robert Pires', 'Patrick Vieira' and 'Champions League losing Finalists' (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

What do you like about Rosicky?? The fact that he's always injured and so Arsenal are left with one less player!?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Injury prone players get on my nerves, they seem so... "grim".

By the way... where is he from, he doesn't look Czech to me at all. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

He's 100% Czech, born ir Prague.

I suppose I haven't seen him enough for me to feel he's 'Arsenalified' yet. I hope he leaves before I end up hating him.

Saying that, Pires was there for a while and I see him as the most gifted football in Premiership history. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

So I guess that's where you get your love for Nesta and Maldini. Specially this season.
